I´m sure that I´m not the only member of this forum who would also be interested in joining a similarly well-run Brazilian site. It would be nice if ATS had a sister Brazilian site which would recommend ATS to their members, and which we ATS people could join.

The problem with that is the market has been bled almost dry. AsianTS works better because there are a team of full time workers on location and the supply of talent always changes. There is no realistic competition because no other Asian ladyboy site can afford to compete.
What you get in this segment of the industry are some flashy copycats who re-hash the same tiresome models, shoot after shoot. No customer service to speak of and no site interaction.
I have spoken with these site owners and they all say the same thing... "Sales is key - fuck the customer once he's joined!" These site owners may be ex affiliates who think that they can win people over with a flashy front page. They are often Ex-pats who live here and try to run the site by themselves.
But they are all badly managed, have inconsistant updates and have no respect for the members after the credit card sale has been made.
Brazil sites are a much different type of business. For a start there are not all that many models to choose from. You end up with the same manly 'shemales' over and over.
One thing they do score on though, is videos. If you like hard core TS fucking then Brazil is where it's at. It's just a shame they don't have a pool of talent larger than a football team!
Brazil TS sites have about been milked to death now and there is so much free content that you don't have to pay for that stuff anyway.
In Asia (esp. Thailand) there are always more and more beautiful ladyboys bussing to the big cities in search of a fast buck. AsianTS.com is the only site on the WWW that looks outside Nana Plaza for talent!

The problem with hosting a forum is that it can be a double edged sword.
If you want it to be successful then you can't overmoderate it and you can't overdo the cheerleading for your own site. You also have to put up with a certain amount of comments that you would probably rather not hear sometimes and we have to face up to the fact that many people who are members of this forum and/or web site are also members of other forums and websites.
Most important of all; members have to feel that they can say what is on their mind without holding back. Whilst this message board isn't a 'democracy of free speech' anyone here can express their opinions about almost anything and they can do it without starting a flame war!
As long as other message boards are always playing 'catch-up' hopefully we'll be the best by getting better and better...Comment

There are lots of sites, like I said before. This scene has been bled dry by pornographers. Same old models (and the same type of models) on every site, though. And also - as has been mentioned before by Rob69 - there are forums but not in English! Thanks for the links though!
