Some people are just not comfortable with using a credit card to pay for porn.

I realize that may not be a major concern for many members, but some of us to have real privacy concerns.

Of course, I'm sure asian-ts takes every precaution to ensure the privacy of personal information, but nothing is full proof and asiant-ts doesn't control every aspect of the transaction (and the records of that transaction), so there's no such thing as an ironclad guarantee that a credit card purchase won't come back to haunt us some day if one of us decides to run for President or starts dating Angela Jolie.

If you offered an alternative method of payment that didn't involve credit cards or personal data at any point in the transaction (so paypal is not an option), then you'd probably see a lot more members and I wouldn't mind a members-only board.

If the forum is free, then why are we members paying and what do we get for our money? I say ban non-paying members. If you are "fishing" for new members by giving non-members access, I would guess that you would get more members by denying access to non-members than by "fishing". If the non-members want to see pics and participate in the forum bad enough then they will become members. The ones that don't join are perverts who probably have never been to and probably never will go to Thailand so what do they have that I want to know about? I want to hear from all of us perverts who have been to Thailand and can give me ideas of what to do the next time that I go.

What you are paying for is access to the website proper and all the geat content that is available on there and not the forum.

The forum is free to join and contribute at the moment and available to anyone wanted to participate regardless of whether they are actually a member of the website.

From my view i was a non member who liked what he saw and wanted to gain more access so i joined best money i spent.

Some limited access as a tease can not hurt as you do not want to become a totaly closed site and kill the best thing in ts land.

Hi,
I€™ve just reading thread on this guy impersonating donnnnnny and I agree that this guy is total arsehole.

But one point of concern I have is that I€™ve made arrangements to meet some of the guys on the forum later in November for a few beers. I just hope that the one of guys won€™t turn out to be like him, as well we have all an element of trust in the members on this forum.

Perhaps I€™m overreacting, but guys like him can spoil a holiday. Also I have known a few of the LBs years and would hate the see guys like this being a real nuisance, especially to the LB€™s.

same for me - 100 bucks is nothing and if I could send a bank draft or cash or something, I'd do it in a flash

to be honest, I just want the forum. If that goes to pay-only, then I'd be willing to join if possible without credit card payment

Just to add to the above, I stumbled across this site and only joined after seeing some of the picture posts here and decided I was missing a whole lot of fun. If no pics, sorry, I would not have joined. Annoying for Donnnny I agree, but Mint didn't fall for it so I can't see a problem.

The Forum does seem to get more than its fair share of peculiar people (I include myself).

But what about the odd LB contribution? Would the Forum be losing something if we didn't have the odd LB making contributions?

Another option would be to say the forums are free to ATS members else $10-$20 a year for access to the forums only.

Making the forum members only may be a very mute point , if members are doing this sort of thing to other members . Not saying they are but who knows ?

Sorry to say , but if you are not prepared for stuff you post here to be thrown back in your face at some point then wise not to post it at all .
