Folks,

For those out there who collect the VCDs/DVDs of the various LB beauty pageants...

I found a local (Bangkok) source that sells the entire line of Tiffany Universe contests. What is unique about this source is that they have VCDs/DVDs for EVERY year of contest since 1998. (The Tiffany company itself only has 2003 and onward)

If you are local to Bangkok and would like to get a copy of the (very rare) 1998/1999/2001/2002 Tiffany Universe contests, please send me a private message and I will put you in contact with them.

I would post their information here, but what they sell are COPIES and I don't want to create any copyright problems for them.

These people are not in this for making lots of money, they are LBs themselves and love the contests...and are happy to just be able to provide copies of the contests that the Tiffany company themselves sell.

Their service is outstanding... They hand-delivered products to me, at my house, in a matter of 1 hour from calling them. Price was very reasonable, too...I got the 1998/1999/2001/2002 contests, each on its own DVD, for a mere 1200 Baht

Send me a private message if you collect these contests and I'll put you in direct contact with this supplier. Please keep it low-key, as these are nice people selling copies...that...if they didn't would otherwise be completely UNavailable through legitimate sources.

A quick follow-up (with photos!) to my previous post...

Seeing that I have already got some decent interest in the company selling the LB pageant VCDs and DVDs...

I wanted to directly pass along the contact information for those who wish to order videos of the Miss Tiffany's Universe contests....rather than sending out bunches of private messages on the forum.

PLEASE keep this information here on this forum (mostly westerners, I would guess).   The person running the "Crown Purple" company is a very nice person (LB), so I figured I would give them some extra props on here...and maybe help them find some interested folks.

Again, Crown Purple sells ONLY BOOTLEG COPIES (typically perfect copies, however).  They are NOT making much money from this...and ONLY doing it because they are a former LB pageant contestant themself and love the contests.  Normally, I wouldn't promote any company selling copies, but, in this case, it's very small-scale operation and, if it weren't for these kind folks at Crown Purple, the majority of this stuff would be completely UNavailable from legitimate media sources.  (You can't even buy most of this stuff from the Tiffany/Alcazar/etc cabarets themself.  They tend to only sell the most recent few years.)

In this case with Crown Purple, I have provided all LB pageant fans with a personally verified source for EVERY YEAR of contest of Miss Tiffany's Universe, Miss Alcazar, Miss AC/DC, etc.  They have em ALL, trust me on that.

Again, these are nice folks who aren't out to make big bucks (obviously!)...they just love the contests and want to be able to provide them to those interested.  

If it weren't for them, most of this would no longer even be available from any other sources.  Hopefully, they will negotiate a distribution deal with the cabarets themselves (in the works already from what I understand) and fully legitimize their sales.  Regardless, I can personally vouch that they are legit and, if you're in Bangkok, can even deliver to your door very fast.
