You remember I am sure; there was a time when I could speak my mind and actually HELP people to get through the obstacle course that is known as the Thai nightlife scene. Now I am told my posts bring down the 'mood' of this forum and I also get a lot of dissension and disagreements to the things I say; as if I say them up here for my own purposes! The things I have learned should be shared, but if people just give me grief and BS all the time do I need that?

Why leave JD? Keep on preachin' and tellin' it like it is. I know I sure do. Hopefully the newbies that have read my trip reports are able to learn something and save themselves from a little heartbreak before they get steamrolled. I think your perspective is a good balance to the dreamy stories sometimes romanticized on the boards. Yeah, it's not all fun and games and guys like us need to tell it like it is.

Agreed that some of the shit that you have had to put with these past three years would make any sane person just walk away. As AsianTS became the pre-eminent LB website more of the people who posted had no clue what the real deal was with these Thai LB'S. For a lot of them it was a quick look, a fast baloney bop and out the door the went. Some posted statements that were so ridiculous they they were laughable. I too noticed a big change here when the Forum was opened to any Tom, Dick or Harry who happened by and did not have to pay his due. These Jackoffs were for the most part not capable of contributing anything of substance to this site.
I did not realize that your role here at AsianTS has been seriously reduced. Perhaps you are right after all, time to leave Dodge and move forward. God knows after some of the shit you did had to put up with you deserve piece and quiet.
I will be forever in your debt for what I have learned about Thai LB'S. I do not think that I would be in the position I am in these days with my "sweetie" if it was not for your advice on AsianTS.
