The poster was making reference to some of his experiences at some of the pleasure palaces on the outskirts of Bangkok, say Nakorn Pathom for example.

Often considerably cheaper and delivered with more enthusiasm than at similar establishments in the center of Bangkok, that are visited by more foriegners with money to splash around.
