...and a very, very nice piece of work it is, too. Well shot, slick editing, very evocative of what a night out trolling the streets here really feels like. If TAT would run this on cable TV in the States, and there' s not a frame they couldn't use, we'd be swamped with tourists within the week.
...well the video is better than no video but not great, guess the guy doesnt have the stabilization feature on his cam yet, it was too jittery & too amatuerish for me but like i said, better than no video at all.. I'll give it a C+ .. (the other videos on the brennihelvete web site are better though)
..and yes I am going to take lots of videos on my next trip to LOS, i just purchased a SONY Handycam DCR-DVD505 with all the whistles & bells (syncro, low lite indoor feature, wide angle, 5.1 surround recording, etc.) & I am really impressed with how the videos I've taken so far have turned out, especially the wide angle mode, it looks great on a large TV screen, u don't lose any image quality when viewing on a larger screen like you do with tape.. recording on DVD is ez to use & it records in chapters which makes editing a snap, & playback a breeze too, u just finalize the DVD when you're done shooting & drop it into your DVD player & your ready to view it; makes editing & uploading the video to websites a no brainer .. the nicest feature though is the 3.5" LCD viewing screen & the additional slot for a memory stick so u can take mega stills on the card or DVD, so now I dont have to lug a digital camera around with me anymore!!
