What Makes A Great Ladyboy Bar

A while back Mai Kee ( i think) started a thread about what makes a great ladyboy bar.  And so we all gave our opinions about what we like.

In Bali, my ladyboy friend, Sashy was talking about the perfect ladyboy bar from her perspective.

it's be called the Fashion Bar and there would be a fashion show every night.  The bar (not the room) would be wide and double as a catwalk.  A few tables but mostly a place where people would be standing.  And there'd be a special signature drink of some sort, we were trying to come up with names for the drink and Fashionista and Waria Wonder were two that came to mind.

It struck me that she said it would be a place where ladyboys could find customers (not customers finding ladyboys).

probably some disco pubs or clubs were ladyboys are the waitress the receptionist and hang out place for a lot of ladyboys who are looking for costumers and also a great party place for anyone...there is house/techno/club music or combination of latin and exotic music from india and middle east cause most ladyboys love to hear it and yes probably a comedy bar were they perform during 9 to 11 pm and lastly accoustic wendsday were ladyboys perform in a band

but i tell you i dont like ladyboys hang out in the clubs wearing almost nothing at all or looking like pornographic of course even if some ladyboys are looking for costumers i respect that but lets dress up in a very classy and stylish manner.....at least it wont ruin the name of the club

well as far as i can suggest its better to maintain the morality and sanity of the bar cause mostly ive experience getting inside in the clubs in some place in the philippines they wont allow ladyboys inside its probably some ladyboys in such place is hooking up with some forieghners who are the costumers in the clubs and probably its giving a bad image.....

i can suggest that ladyboys who want to get in the clubs must wear something more classy and stylish outfits they have to feel like they are high class celebrities ....not dresses or outfits that almost look like they are naked too much skind revealing and too vulgar.....at the same time its a very good idea that its those guys who will look for ladyboys not ladyboys who will look for costumers...excuse me for the first post i made

by the way which location would you like to put your bar in the beach or in the city

if in the beach well make it more like a tropical feel......and yes ladyboys in hawaiian costume.....yes of course party scene like ibiza

I think we have 2 different ideas here. One is a hangout for the girls, a nice club with good music where they can dance and feel comfortable - the otherone is a gogo-bar. Something like the Nana bars, but way better run, with a real concept and management behind.
Both good ideas, both don't exist..... so far.....

That's what I would call a good ladyboy bar, for me at least, as I don't like noisy disco's/go go's.
That way you can talk to them without the need to shout and get to know them better in a more comfortable setting.

I can't imagine that I would enjoy going to anywhere designed and filled with Asians no-matter what country they are from.

If a place is designed by ladyboys and they have those stupid shows and annoying dance music then customers won't go. Just look at Nana... People go there to find a fuck and NOT to have a good time.

Imagine the food they would sell if it was designed by Asians... 20 Baht shit on a stick with a side of bugs!

Imagine the inside decor! Don't forget - Asians do not have a word in their language for 'Gaudy!' LOL!

No, sorry... I stay away from Asian designed places unless I'm forced to go or I'm looking for a prostitute. They do not have a clue what Westerners find appropriate and they don't want to learn, either.

That's why they'll always be poor and underperforming.

From a Ladyboys perspective i cant see anything that would change the drudgery of what they do.... .Maybe 10% enjoy it but i doubt if its higher.

At least the pay is good...

I suppose that a Taiwan style hostess club might be a bit more interesting as at least a nice meal is probably on the agenda at some point , and they would get to wear nice slinky clothes whilst being bored to death by the usual  farangi chitter chatter.

That's a rather harsh sweeping statement there SB. I believe there are loads of places designed by asians, enjoyed by everyone, not just westerners.

There's just no pleasing everyone. Cultural values will always colour the way we respond to any type of situation, including bars. Transplant a swanky New York bar into Nana, and it will look out of place. Where's the sleaze? Sure, it will be nice and all, but didn't the New Yorker travelled half way round the world because he didn't want the New York bar scene?

I can understand where stogie's coming from,,almost all of the clubs and bars ar shitholes...

Check out some of the bars and clubs in Bali,,totally different from Thailand, amazing architecture and designs..

as far as Ladyboy theme bars go,,
My bedroom would be a good place to start..
Maybe they should dress like this.
