An unplanned trip meant I joined Snick, Monkeyman and Scooter on a mission into Nana on Saturday night. Here is a quick summary of whats happening.
Obsession - Great talent on offer, clearly the winner in terms of most feminine and passable LB's in Bangkok. Bar itself was quite busy with it being a saturday night despite everyone moaning about no customers. Couple of things of note. The damn Scarecrow is really beginning to annoy me - for those that dont know her she is the fat and butt ugly service girl with hay/straw growing out of her hair. Stupid cow lost a further tip when she did not bring back our change - oh its only 10 baht and 30 baht respectively, so I put it in the tip box she says. My further 60 baht tip in the form of 3 twenties then slipped back in my pocket as we walked out. Well enough of that old hag - the talent is good as I say - look out for number 14 - new, cute and adorable. No idea what her name is as I was pre-occupied with my equivalent of Stogies shadow. Anna is still as sexy as ever (number 54) - still the most passable gal in Obsession and even her English is improving. Unfortunately this gal aint going to be challenging Newton or Einstein in the brains department but she is sweet enough. Snick and Monkeyman have already commented on number 2 who is a leggy number and the new 55 looks pretty cute in a Nam from JSB kind a way. The show seems to be starting around midnight which is a good reason not to be in their at this time as its still crap.
With the show being on, we made our excuses and hot footed it to Casanova which remains show free except for bikini clad LB's which is what we want to see. Wierd but outside Casanova there were no LB's !!!! We found out why when we went in and the place was busier than I have ever seen it. Good selection of talent - some real ladyboy classics in this bar - I guess its the equivalent of the Jaguar E type club - classic looks, damn expensive to maintain and still as good to look at as when the model first came out. The normal posse were all there and rapidly were getting changed as the barfines were changing hands - it really was busy inside which had the benefit of meaning that the Mamasan was too busy to come and sponge a drink. Especially for Stogie, Candy was there and looking as cute as ever - she is out of place though in this bar - she would probably do a lot better in Obsessions.
After Casanova we ventured into Temptation against my better judgement as last couple of times, I was really annoyed with this place. Too much hassle, too many ugly gals and a crap atmosphere. Well, I was surprised - the talent has got much better and I'd say its worthy of a visit - Emmy is a cute newbie and wears number 14 - just moved up from Jomtien and adores playing Volleyball so she tells me. The most entertaining thing about Temptation was without a doubt the two fat lesbians from England who were trying their best to pull a LB for the evening - they were not having much luck and we saw them later still trying to pick up a LB or two outside Nana.
After Nana we popped into Sin Bar on SOi 4 - for those of you that dont know - this rooftop bar is a pretty neat venue - they must have some expensive arrangement with the local police which allows them to be lets say, flexible in their closing time. The roof top bar area is very nice if you have not been and we had 3 LB's with us and no issues or problems. Drinks are expensive though - as I recall it was about 180 baht for a bottle of beer but as an alternative to the Sukhumvit street scene, its worthy of a visit particularly if you want after Nana hours drinking.
