I once heard an LB exclaim that 'it is easy to be a girl; but it takes technology to make a ladyboy'
For ladyboys, this raises the question 'what do you want to be'
In the old Freudian psychoanalytic school, Victorian sentiment proclaimed that women (GGs) suffered a lifelong 'penis envy' which forever tainted their endeavors. Where they only able to grow this marvelous organ, womens' problems would all be solved (a sentiment expressed by Henry Higgens in Pygmalion when he asked why a woman couldn't be more like a man).
Yet I suspect this notion is more than a Victorian whim. We all like that girl with a little something extra. It means we can relate to them on a more fundamental level; sexually they're going to be more like us (a good thing).
Meanwhile, we have girls contributing to this site who are being pressured by their peers (many who have had the SRS) to 'take a little off the top'
Well plastic surgery is opening up more and more technology for LBs to 'be all that they can be'
And this technology is progressing at a breakneck speed. We now have the ability to (in the lab) build from cells any organ in the body (excluding liver, heart and brain) from single cells; and to regenerate and engineer any body part. One plastic surgeon has laid out plans for an angel, complete with wings; people around the world are transforming themselves into animal-human hybrids. The recreation of the female womb is possible.
With all this choice, I think that ladyboys would welcome the chance to wait, and revel in their uniqueness.
