despite the fact that ol' Stogie bear didn't like the old forum because of its colors and simplistic layout [ he likes things complicated and he likes soft-porn over hardcore; go figure], there is a treasure trove of information up there for new guys and old farts alike. 2 years worth of postings has yielded many many pages of material, and probably 2000 or more posts [I never really took the time to count them].
for someone who is new to this scene, and even for guys who have been to Thailand before, the old forum is a great place to start your reading and trip-planning. Stogie was right that this new forum would be used more and we would have more posters over time, but we will always keep a link to the old one just for the fact that there is so much shit up there. I also noticed that some guys posted up there in the last few days; please don't do that. It's only there for the vast archives contained therein, and if you want a question answered or want to know something, post it here for all the gang to see.
