New LB bar in Nana

I was cruising NEP last night and popped my head into a bar I think was called Lolipop, on the ground floor same side as Big Dogs. Anyway there were a couple of LBs dancing etc. I didn't go in as it looked a bit dead etc, but the girls seemed ok quality. Anyone else been or had any experiences there?

I thought Lolipop was the equivalent of the elephant graveyard - i.e where old ladyboys go to die. Everytime I have been inside, its been quiet; full of old has been's and a rip off too boot. Can't say I have been back for at least 4 months, but never feel the inclination to look again.

Don't I feel like a right twat! I just did a search on the threads and see that the bar has been around for at least six months. Sorry for the misinfo. The bar was quiet last night but I didn't think the quality was so bad. Maybe my tastes are a bit pedestrian.

We have discussed this bat many times before, just go back a few pages and you will see Ziggystardust thread about the Lpop.

It seems that the staff change every week and you dont know whos going to show. I have seen a few nice LBs in there but also some stunning GGs such as Lemon and Pim. I think the LBS are 2nd division and try pass off as GGs as well. Maybe its 100% LB now but i doubt it.

but as i said the place always seems in a state of flux.
A bit of a lucky dip....still always worth a look IMO.

I was in Lollipop last week and there were obvious LBs there. I was sitting with a pretty one and I asked her how many were LB and how many GG. She flat denied that there were any LBs there although she was obviously one but almost passable. When she got up to dance I asked the waitress the same thing and she gave the same answer. No Lbs, all girls. I then went out to the front bar which is also part of Lollipop and asked the bartender there the same question. She said they were all LBs except for 2 or 3 girls! What the fuck are they thinking? What happens when a poor sod takes them back to his room? Maybe they're all cut and trying to get away with it. I'm thinking about popping back in tonite just to call their bluff. Weird shit!

To be honest i think its wise just to let them get on with it .

I know that its tempting to do the Witchfinder general bit but i would let it go... it could turn nasty..... for you......if some poor sod tags a LB in error then thats his tough shit -- just think about yourself.

Lollipop is owned/operated by the same farang (with Thai wife) as Cascade, Obsession, Hollywood Rock, and 5 or 6 other Go-go bars in NEP. (Temptations is owned/operated by the same woman who owns 4 bars in Soi Cowboy: among them Suzie Wong, Long Gun, Shebas.)

Employees circulate (staff, management, service) between all these go-go bars pretty much on a daily basis. (Tak, who was the mamasan at Cascade now has the same role at a go-go bar there on the 2nd floor pretty much adjacent to Temptations.)

There are at least two post-ops working at Lollipop (whom I know from their pre-ops days), or there were when I last went there a few weeks ago.

All of these bars seem to be keen on employing post-ops. Presumably they generate more bar-fines (as has been mentioned in other threads; tall, big boobs, fairer skin, nose jobs, extensive body work, etc.)) so the risk/ reward is worth it. Personally I think this will come back to bite them when more and more customers find out they've been with post-ops, and start posting on the internet.

My guess is that Lollipop is up for a transition (sale/refit); it looks like the sign has gone missing, hopefully it didn't kill anyone when it fell, and that any change in staff that the OP observed is due to this transition.

It does seem like more and more bars are employing post-ops, but it doesn't seem like the farang that frequent the GG bars are catching on! What probably happens is they wake up the next morning, realize what's happened, and suddenly have a conversion!

I think a "conversion" would only take place if the person has a real experience with a pre op LB,because with a post op there is little chance to feel the "difference"

I was there 2 days ago.

There were about 6 LBs and 15 GGs there.

Quality had gone done from when I was last there a month or so ago, but there were still a few lookers.
