I'd be very wary about basing an opinion on what you have seen on TV.  

On Thai TV nearly all the 'ladyboy' characters are played by men in drag  -  and they look it!    
Additionally they are almost always depicted as superficial and stupid.    

The only 'real' ladyboys you see are either those in beauty contest shows or  -  the ones on the news arrested by the police.

I'm talking about British women. Both on TV and in person. I see plenty of "Beeb", and keep in mind these are the actresses, so supposedly they are the better looking bunch that can be picked out. I've also seen what British movies have to offer- still not impressed.

I've also been to both London and Portsmouth and never saw what I would consider any more than merely decent looking women.

And Gunslinger, not all women here have tans and tight bellies. But a hell of a lot more here than in the UK, which was my point. I would say of the girls I see every day in the 18 to 30 age group, 60% or better of them are hot and / or fuckable.

I've been around the world, with the exclusion of Asia. With the exception of asian countries, I'm saying my experience shows me that the US by far has the highest percentage of smoking hot women.

I'm talking about the average woman on the street, not comparing my supermodel to your supermodel.

And there's no need to get all in my face about it, it's the crowd here that are regularly calling their UK women fat white hippos. American girls know what hot looks like, they put effort into it, and they know how to give blow-jobs and fuck, and they like it.

You did not mention about ordinary people  

Bear in mind that in the US they put actors and actresses in parts because they look good and the audience knows their names/wants to watch them.
In the UK they are cast because:-
1 - they can act
2 - they look right for the part
Appearence is secondary to suitability  -  there are plenty of lookers though.   I know I'm going to get seriously flamed here      but that is the case.

I always think that women in the UK have an almost disastrous dress/makeup sense  -  especially when compared to the French.
Yes generally American women are much better than the UK in this respect.

Fat white hippo's?  I think both the US and the UK have too many of these.       The percentage of the population in this category is about the same in both nations.
But you have plenty of women running round the US without the California tan.    In the UK we are nearly as far north as Canada  -  the California tan is not really an option here
