I'm not sure why everone is getting so worked up here as broadly you are agreeing with each other.

The only part of this thread I think is wrong is the comments by Vangough05 and Brocklanders about her prices being  -  'way out of reality'

The prices that street traders on Sukumwit charge are 'way out of reality' to Thai's  -  but western tourists pay them.  
If they negotiated then they would get a discount.  

Aubrey is merely doing the same thing.
If you can't get her down to what you consider a reasonable price  -  then go elsewhere.

The petroleum companies and airlines do the same thing and I haven't seen any complaints about them here.

  I would have to agree on that.
Its the right of every consumer to shop and compare and ask about pricing before making the economic choice.

On a very similar note.....
I had a fairly cute LB send me an IM on Face-Pic today.  Long story short...She offered me what was said to be a great deal   for when I arrive in BKK.  Just 100USD for ST =1hour or 300USD for LT =4 hours.   In a very poilte manner let her know the pricing way off for that market and I would pass but thanks.  Easy enuff
