Might as well add myself to this list. The lurkers who have been around for many years but only post half hazardly.

Like I wrote in my first post, I've not posted much simply because I haven't been to LOS since 10 years ago and I was there for a whole 3 days before heading to HK for work. So I posted about stuff that I can relate to.

But I have been lurking for such a long time that I remember reading rob69 posts until his sad passing. I remember the flaming war that happened with that guy from Cyprus (or was he Greek?). This was 5 years ago??? Maybe even longer... I remember someone posting about the plane (phuket to bkk) that crashed and that there was a very famous lb aboard. Turned out to be complete hog wash.

If I can add anything of importance to this post, it is this; take the time to read this board. Even if it takes weeks, people will find so much info and hidden treasures on this board.

I have read and gathered so much info on this board that I, sort of, know how stogie and rx and other long time BM feel when a newbie post a silly question like where is ____?(enter lb name) or (my favorite) where is guess bar?

I will be in LOS in July and I look forward to meeting some of you in bkk or in patts.    And, of course, adding my own trip report, however small or big it will be.

As I dug a little deeper into the now-156 pages of the » News, Views and LADYBOYS! » forum, I found this thread. i found this forum after subscribing to AsianTS.com.

Got my initial interest in T-Girls because one of my high school friends turned out to be a male-to-female transexual. She moved to Europe and made a living in the TS cabaret world until a brain tumor caused her untimely death.

I live in Florida and had my first TS experience aboput four years ago. To date, all those experiences have been via rendezvous arranged through Eros.com, in U.S. cities, and with Asian girls.

Have found this forum to be, for the most part, highly informative and entertaining. A little perplexed, and disappointed really, to see some of the flame wars that have broken out / continue to break out.

Also, I'm concerned about the proposal to move the best aspect of the forum, the trip reports, to a limited-access VIP section. Will reserve my final opinion on that one.

Currently, I'm hoping my first "Sojourn in Siam" will take place in April or May, 2010. Until then, I intend to continue reading and posting here.

Good idea, this thread. I'm perturbed at the way newbies are so harshly treated on this Forum - I'm constantly greeted in the bar with the line "Hello Jimbo, good to meet you at last. My name is...., and I read your posts daily, but am too scared to say anything in case i get flamed!"
