You going to register as Mr. Grumpy or Ladyboyguru?

....... or the Phuket Phucker, LB phucker that is ...
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

              Hello All,
Been lurking for some time now, This is the best LB forum I have yet to see. Leaving for Pattaya tonight.
Not my first trip but the anticipation makes it I feel like it is. I have always been attracted to LB's and over the years I have honed in on what I like. Since I first took the "plunge" in Bangkok a few years back, I have slowly become less inhibited and now feel much more relaxed when approaching an encounter with the "third" gender. Thank you for all the great info on this board.

(bodbatty @ Feb. 12 2008,01:15) Shit, that's why I lurk cos I can't write. First sentence should have read 17 posts
Let us know when you are next in town an in the mood to hook up. I'd be happy to jump on a bus and say 'Hi!'
Cheers Stogie, would like to take you up on that.
Made it to Guess as hoped on 4th March. Recognised Glen (PC) I think, and Mardhi but didn't get the chance to say hello. Got cornered at the bar straight away by Mimi but didn't really fancy a second time, but I'm too polite to ask to be left alone. Spent about an hour with her trying to persuade me the only way she knows (flashing her arse at every opportunity), bought her a few drinks, tipped her a few baht for her time, then made a spur of the moment decison to visit the "Nana shit-pits" for the first time, alone.
First stop obsessions, hit for drinks straight away but didn't find it too intimidating, and managed to find a seat to myself. Plenty trying to catch my eye but just wanted to look for a while. Spotted someone I thought I recognised (Nui) and waved her over. Mistake, was not her but did the decent thing, bought a drink, left a tip and made my way upstairs to Cascades.
Found this better talent wise, but got cornered by two who sat either side of me for the duration. wasn't really interested, number 86 (I think) on stage was doing the business for me, but couldn't shake the other two so left alone at closing.
Back out on Soi 4, bumped into Pang leaving guess. Decided to make up for previous error and took her (or she took me) to S.T hotel (had a feeling my hotel would not be LB friendly). Enjoyable enough experience but not a fan of ST hotels which takes a lot of the fun out and therfore not really worth writing about, but would definately try her again.
Back on 6th june, no doubt for more of the same.

I was a lurker for ages, I never thought to post. After all, what could I write that was so interesting?

Then one trip to LOS, I met sev7en, billy69, ozzie, socrates & others - they all asked who I posted as.

Let me say that the reception you can expect as a posting Board Member is way different to being just another tourist.

And the silly thing is, you don't have to write much, just make a post in the New Members section saying hello.

Pick a silly name, grab an avatar from the 100's already loaded or find your own - Google Images is a rich resource for them, then just do it.

Your life will change before you know it. The next thing guys from all over the globe will be saying hi & welcome, then you will read some comment & add your own.

Presto, you are a participating member, strangers will offer a drink when you meet, happy to talk to a brother-in-arms.
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.

Johnnydiver here and I have been around since October 2008. In reviewing my posts I found that I have only 15 posts and I thought I had more. Appears that I have lurked more than posted. I have not gotten to the LOS but plan to do it on in May 2010. Due to not having broken my cherry so to speak I have not posted much but have read a lot. This site and others have given me the confidence to go to the LOS and walk into all the places talked about here! Thanks all
Seize the day because tomorrow is never promised!

Well done for posting here Johnnydiver. So you have almost a year to go before you make it to Los, plenty of time to prepare for sure.

It's true what Pacman says above, when you are a known poster, it's like meeting lost brothers when you finally meet other BMs in all the bars mentioned.

Here's hoping more lurkers post here and elsewhere on the forum.

                                Cheers gents
