Although maybe ronin may not have expressed himself as clearly as he might have wanted to I think the idea is if you are paying for a service then expect that service to be provided as described and the only expectation from the service provider is that they are appropriately financially compensated. Of course simple common courtesy and respect should prevail in these situations and we should all treat each other with such.

I am all for treating the ladyboys with respect and courtesy as a person, tipping for extra satisfaction, etc.... I am simply presenting my case as a customer or consumer , not a business owner or service provider. Yes, it's a black and white scenario, but one must have boundary before you know where the grey is. Otherwise, we, the customer, might as well be the one to say: "up to you".

Ozzie is right, essay writting is not my strong point. Another reason I join the forum: to practice my English communication skills.

To me it did seem quite reasonable what you wrote..nothing that silly.
It's a buyer market afterall..at least in a place like Thailand.
Back in Europe/US/Australia, you may have to crawl in front of a pros, spill your 200 USD for some lousy 45 minutes and get the hell out of her place without slamming the door!
So, be nice and courteus, but don't be afraid to ask!

I agree with whoever mentioned the 'Golden Rule'. Being nice, courteous, and accomodating within reason doesn't take much, if any, effort. And as many have pointed out before, may actually help you get better service. It's a win-win situation for all, so why not do it?
