Obsessions Update

I was in Obsessions bar in April and May a few times.....actually just a total of 3, the air-conditioning was out all 3 times and I am not drinking in an indoor bar without that..... but all in all this is probably the 2nd best bar in Nana Plaza and slowly moving in on Cascades as THE place to go in Bangkok. About 30-40 girls every night starting at like 7pm; this is a very young crowd of friends who basically all know one another and all the new faces in here will blow your minds, I know it did for me. I have been going in this bar since it opened in 2001 and genarally knew all the girls or close to it at any given time for years; now I am lucky if I know 25% of that place, a great thing.

Natalie from Casa now works here...... Anney shows up on occassion, Lyla also and Ann with the long hair who looks Hawaiian; her and Cream and Joy look like 3 sisters and all hotties. The new crowd...... unbelievable..... I don't know many names there but numbers 55 and 35 stand out for me, too many others to mention and it's just a great place; now if they can get the A/C going and play some decent tunes we could actually hang out longer!

I think you are right about it being one of the best bars though  -  it's always had some character about it which to other bars seem to lack and the range and quaility of the girls has usually been better than the other bars.

Yes I think I was with you at the time with monkeyman, stogie and co when we all pretty much got up and walked out telling the mamasan exactly why we were leaving?

I know the girls get cold with it on as they are standing around in bikinis but if the punters won't hang around because of the stifling heat then it is in their best intersest to turn it on I would say

I like the techno music they play... they have some cool euro shit... a little bit out of date but still good.

I agree, their music is probably the least-offensive out of any of the bars there, although the last time around Cascades was pretty decent too.

In my opinion, if you want to see stunners, this is the place to go. I could easily spend a 3 week trip in BKK and never leave this place because of all the talent its got.

obsessions could, i emphasis could, be an attractive place if only they would relocate it. when you enter, or leave with a date, the adjacent bars in the patio area
are loaded with creeps looking to see who comes in or out. some of them sit there and that is there only reason for being there. i have no problem being seen with a lady-boy in public. i took the trainstopper to several 4 star raan ahaans. it was fun to watch the husbands stare at her and the wives stare at the husband. obsessions is different. its like a pirate walking the plank. if you know the owners suggest they get a location upstairs.

On my last trip to Nana a friend of mine took me to Playschool GG Bar on the ground floor 3rd bar along on the right hand side.
Of all the bars in nana this place has the best music of any bar in Nana. However, what he did when he walked in was tip the DJ 100 baht to play his favourite music (rock and pop) and as we sat back and watched the average girls dance he enjoyed 6 songs of his choice. I asked him, "How does he know what you like". He told me he just remembers me.............

So guys do you think this would happen in the LB Bars? Front the DJ and give me a list of some songs that you want him to play and give me a tip. Might be interesting to see the girls dancing to some decent music.

providing the DJ has what you like why wouldnt he? i kina do the same thing in lucifer in pattaya, thr guy knows what tunes me and my buddies like so of he goes
