Drugged and rolled on lower Sukhumvit

I was sorry to hear the story of friend and his wife (Thai) who had a beer late on Sukhumvit in one of the all-night €˜bars' near Soi 7/1. Seems they were watching their beer carefully enough to see nothing was put in it, but the mistake they made was accepting some nuts, or other food. They woke up an hour later, dumped in the front of a hotel high in Sukhumvit. Needless to say all money and gold was gone . From their injuries they think they must have passed out and been put in the back of a pick up. They returned the next night with police contacts but nobody knew €˜nuttin.'

One guy I met, a very nice guy but very much a newbie, picked up a young woman and older women from around the Nana lot and woke up the next morning drugged. So two girls or even worse two ladyboys from the street is often bad news.

I thought these knockout drugs lasted for more than an hour?

Sounds like and unlikely story to me. Especially since there are usually many people around this area at night and would look a bit suspicious dragging them into a pick up truck. Also as PD mentioned these date rape drugs last more than 1 hour.

I can report that I was drugged once on soi 3 also.  I am no newbie but I was moderately drunk.  I picked up a GG outside of the Grace Hotel and we walked to the Playboy shorttime hotel.  We took a bath together and then she put a cough drop or other hard candy in her pussy and asked me to lick it.  I woke up several hours later with no money and missing my watch and gold wedding ring.  I was barely able to walk but the hotel guy insisted that I leave and said "lady leave long time ago".  Not so oddly enough as I was walking back a woman came to help me and walked me to my hotel and spent the night.  I woke up and she had "only" ripped off my CD player and drank half a carton of milk.
So after 35 years in Thailand, It happened to me, twice in one night.  And never again.  The strength of the drugs is just luck because the druggers really don't know the power and probably dont care.

Load of rubbish. Hands up who "keeps an eye on their beer" to avoid people dropping in knock-out drugs!

It's much more likely that this couple accepted a tuk tuk drivers offer of a free ride, got talked into playing cards, lost the lot and fell asleep drunk!

And even that's not very likely these days...

There are just too many people around Sukhumvit at night in this area. Someone would have said or done something.

if you you think about it thats where the realy smart thieves should be operating

khao san road is full of backpackers from europe where thailand is there first stop on there world tour

so some of the less bright ones are full of money new toys
and very oftern not very street smart also being young dum and full of cum they are more into drug abuse so easily fooling some kid that this pill ive got will get you realy high
