well i dont care if live on the cold weather.........cause now im expereincing it in scandanavia now i feel like im in a new life and i feel like i dont want to go back in the philippines.........well i see a lot of future here good salary for a job although expensive lifestyle. can you imagine the long flight i took from singapore to copenhagen then another 3 hours to iceland well i dont want to come back and expereince another long flight ........well for me its new life here and well i also want to finish my school here get a job..... well would really miss my family and friends and also expereincing some culture shock but it doesnt matter im gonna see them and visit them sometime.......if i stay longer here...... well i speak good english and i can learn to speak european language and i know how to get along with some people which makes me feel i would really blend to any types of society wherever i am and lastly ill be gladly happy to live my life with my lover in his house and see his everyday life although im not living with my lover now but if incase he would take me to his country ill be willing to

To try to find a westernized woman who can talk about economics, politics, religion, philosophy, current events, etc. is difficult as it is.  I don't doubt LBFM's have western women beat by a mile in terms of being sweet and feminine, but I find it very hard to believe that they would be intellectual equals.

I'm sure half a dozen people are going to respond trying to tell me how all these LB's would win on Jeopardy and love to discuss Ontological Empiricism, but you've got a long row to hoe if you're trying to convince me of that.

I have no doubt a lot of guys want a woman who will just be sweet and walk three steps behind him (figuratively if not literally). I might as well throw down the gauntlet and say that's what is behind a lot of this anti-western women stuff. Guys who have low self-esteem and frankly don't know how to deal with women who are challenging and close to being their equals. So they go where women roll-over.

Don't forget, they're getting paid to be nice. This is evidenced by the panicked scramble of all the guys when the topic of just picking up non-working girls in the mall in LOS came up. Suddenly the confident macho attitude disappeared and everyone was just as afraid of these girls.

Face it, the truth is dealing with working LB or GG is like shooting fish in a barrel. You are in the service industry. They are going to treat you just like waiters, bartenders, tour guides, and card dealers.  Nice.  Because you are the paying tourist.

That doesn't make them inherently superior or nice people. If so, why are so many guys here scared shitless to just go ask the counter girl at the mall for a movie and dinner?  Because then the playing field is leveled - you may do OK, but there's a chance that you may not. And if you've escaped your home country because women's liberation has made the women too intimidating or scary for you and mommy won't let you tug on her apron anymore you go where the women are "easy".

Don't anyone start thinking that Disneyworld means everything is fun and all the people there like you. It's an amusement park, and it's all giggles and shiny smiles as long as you're paying.

I would be willing to say 99 out of 100 women could not interest me whether they are western or otherwise. I have high standards for a personal companion.

Does that mean I wouldn't have a semi-LTR with a LB?  Nope, it means I'd be happy to, but I'd have no illusions about it. It would be easy and breezy for me. The same as dating a 19 or 21 year old girl here in the states. Do you think we're going to have great and deep conversation?  Sheeeee-it.

An LTR with a LB or 21 year old for guys like us is a cop-out. It's a dating vacation. Guys do it because it's EASY for them in one way or another.  Don't even bother arguing that, the costs you gladly give up in one area are because some other area is easy for you. And I'd say 99% of it is the low emotional committment or stunted relationship growth, or the low expectations.

  in the UK Western Women are on the take, it deosn't matter how you view it, what sane person enters a contract where 366 days after signing 50% of your estate is theres without a single input from them. In the UK a pre nup isn't worth the paper it's written on. I paid a solicter for an hour of his time to find out exactly where men & women stand in this deal ( rip - off ), it was frightening how the courts will help them to take you to the cleaners.

   They expect to be transported, wined, dined & waited on hand & foot, you are the one making the effort & sacrifices not them. Sex is merely a means to an end for them, a weapon in there aresnal to be used to gain something or make a threat. Don't expect it to be given out as something to be mutually enjoyed & done on a regular basis, unless of course they haven't quite managed to trap you. They keep piling the cheese on the mouse trap, untill they get the mouse. They have but one agenda, themselves at someone else's expense, namely yours, & once the trap is sprung the affection & sex drys up. They want relationships with good stable providers who don't inconvenience or expect anything from them. Sex they can get anywhere, anytime, from anyone they choose. I am sure as hell i am not going to make the up hill struggle & effort to start a relationship under this sort of arrangement!!

  Unless you have a flex crush body, are well hung, & look like the latest female heart throb there physical interest in you is nil. Its what they can get. They will run all sorts of charardes & false glam to spring the trap, marriage, then they got what they came for 50% & they can step out taking it with them at anytime of there choosing .

  Do you honestly think i am going to try & catch or be caught under those circumstances? Even if they are attractive to me, i am not even going to make the effort because i know whats coming. There 'ain't much difference between that & a bar GG / LB. In my experience they are not particually good in bed either, & spend more time telling you what you can't do or touch. & don't forget they are doing you a massive favor by merely being there too.

  I am not going to dispute its "easy" to tip up in the right country & enjoy the company of the locals in what ever destination you choose for the discounted price. I like to think i do not treat them badly & try to treat them as i would a proper partner. I am under no illussions as to the reason they are there, I am paying, its there "job" to be nice & make me think they like me, & I can pretend they do, while i am there. I am not looking for a relationship, I am looking for a little decent treatment & companionship & enjoyable sex. I don't honestly see that there is too much difference between the "normal relationship" with western women & P4P workers.     I take the point about education, world affairs, etc, it is nice to be with an inteligent well travelled person, but to suggest western women are that person is absurd. A very small minority are & they know what they want, they are the few that have woken up to whats going on & are actually perhaps trying to find a partner as a soul mate & not just a provider to be exploited. Unfortunately the majority are wrecking it for the minority & they are struggling to find what they want as much as the guys who have woken up are struggled to find the same.

   Farangs trying to chat up local GG's / LB's in malls or where ever they bump into them, immediately run into the problem of the local GG's / LB's being viewed by the indiginous population as a P4P workers. That is quite a large barrier to overcome, & in order to do this you need to be in country for a long period of time, or more than likely live there, then you may stand half a chance of succeedding. I would imagine few achieve it on the 2-3 week package tour.

It's funny I experienced so many different views on this. Most of the Thais I know who live in Europe actually hate it! Most of all the food! They always stay in a ghettolike community that consists mainly of (ex-)bargirls, being the wifes or exwifes of some guys who thought their dream will come true if they import their object of desire to Little Cheepewakatakee or Unter Rhein Pfaffstaetten. The clash of cultures is the biggest threat and it's a lot bigger for a girl from Mukdahan, than for a guy who is well travelled, speaks a few languages, has probably lived in different cultures already, etc.
Education is everything in that case! I know a few very well educated Thai girls who live over 10, 20 years in NY, Amsterdam and Munich have great jobs and have no problem at all with that - and don't even know other Thais in those cities.
In general I always found the PI girls blend in a lot easier. I suppose it's the education here as well. Thais rarely work - they do the housewife thing, getting fat and frustrated. The PI girls are most of the time nurses, have therefore proper jobs with a high responsibility among mainly western people. That helps with the self-worth and makes them also more independent!
.... and all that is at least 500% more complicated when the girls are tgirls. Not many chances for them to blend in western society. And "hiding" at home as a housewife is also no longtime solution. All I know went back or became hookers (again). The relationships failed sooner or later. Sad but as far as I experienced it.... true!

I am sad to have said what i did in the answer to grunyen, but it remains fact. ALL..... my work colleages are very unhappy with there relationships, but most are trapped financially & there parteners know it & are exploiting the position. Only those who are older & have moved into the years of mutual tolerance do not seem to be overly unhappy. However, in real terms, they have been no where, done nothing, seen nothing & therefore are unaware of what is going on & whats on offer in the big wide world out there & neither do they want to know. ( Perhaps the best way to be ).

It is very unfortunate that the majority of western women operate in this way, as it is wrecking it for the few genuine ones remaining. The end result, & its already happening in the UK at least, few men are prepared to get married or even have live in parteners. I find, when out & about, that once a western women has learnt of your exstensive travels, they loose interest because they know the scam won't work. Unfortinately there are still plenty of guys around who have absolutely no idea what they are getting into, & require very little cheese on the mouse trap to become another victim.

It is far better to operate as the mobile phone providers do, "Pay as You Go", you remain in control of your estate, & niether side is under any illussion as to what is going on. More open, more transparant & alot simpler. Of course there are hordes ( mainly women ) jumping on the band wagon & siezing the moral high ground & spouting off about exploitation. But as one proffessional prostitute said on the British media recently, "I average £4-5000 a week, who is getting exploited ??".
