    RR.
Pedants rule, OK. Or more precisely, exhibit certain of the conventional trappings of leadership.

I think he is just making a statement and hoping the King reforms his government.
All seems pretty fucked up though. Hope it all doesn't kick off as the Thai economy seems to be a lot stronger these days.

Mr Thaksin cited the need to restore national unity for the celebration of His Majesty the King's 60th anniversary on the throne in June as a main reason.

One good thing about Thailand is the King. No one wants to mess with the King!

          Long live the King!

I've been travelling Thailand for over 20 years and the King has save the country from a disaster quite a few times.

Can we give them Bush, and take their King? At least the exchange rate would move in a favorable direction for Americans.
Retired the top 12.  Need a new dirty dozen.

Update: The new list is coming together: Nong Poy, Anita, Nok, Gif, Liisa Winkler, Kay, Nina Poon.  Is it possible to find 5 more?  Until then, GGs:  Jessica Alba, Yuko Ogura, Zhang Ziyi, Maggie Q, and Gong Li.

you guys are nuts this guy has been the best PM in the country's history--what's good for the prime minister is good for the Thai economy. And as for the king he won't get involved in public. why should he.
