It seems just about everybody on this Forum is somewhat judgemental about ladyboys in the sex trade. The flip side of the the same same coin is the punter paying for sex.

We're a bunch of guys who prefer ladyboys, or at the very least prefer Thai girls to western women. Conventional wisdom is that money is number one so don't fall in love. Does that doom us to a life without love? Is the only solution to look outside the bar if we want both ladyboys and love in our life?

I'd like to think that working bar does not ruin *all* girls and that it is possible to find love with a bargirl. If not, we're just wasting our time albeit having lots of fun in bed, if we have to go back to western women for true love.

Because we're too lazy to look outside it.  Also, as tourists we simply don't have the time to get to know "decent" girls, those in the trade are right there in front of us (or behind us in some cases  ).

You could also argue that most of us have failed at relationships in our home countries (I know I have).

I'm not sure there's a difference between the feelings of Thai working girls and western non-working girls, and thus our results with them.

Both want to live with a nice guy who has money. In both cases we primarily want to fuck them, and only secondarily, actually want to stay with them forever.

In the former, the situation is clear and a little brutal at the beginning, in the latter (westerners), it's usually brutal at the end when you discovered you've been had after 10 years of marriage.

So what is different here? Why the morose attitude to working LBs?

As for non-working LBs, they are the same, it's just that you don't get it as fast as the working ones, and they are no different from money-hugging, westerners.

Well..good and bad persons are everywhere, and as Ziggy pointed out, and by all means money lures women irrespective of latitude and longitude.
Go and pick up and GG with a Porsche I/O your average Toyata Corolla and you likely receive a different attention.
Also, % of success in relationships seems to be falling day by day on this planet so seems like "being together forever" will probably be relegatd to history books...
