    Was i unlucky or is this the norm?

    i'm a reletive newbie to LBs but most of the LBs i took recently (approx. 10) had some kind of visible STD - mainly molluscum (spots/warts), one had genital warts (a cluster of them), one i suspect had herpes spots/sores.
    also some didn't seem to be too clean (e.g. smelly bell ends, not washing before or after in ST places). with gg's i always do a very subtle check and hardly ever find any problem except the occasional smelly pussy, but the end of this trip i was doing full doctors examinations of the LBs before any touching on the bed because i was too often finding a problem.

    it's really put me off taking many more in the future, and i'm sure i would have taken a lot more on this trip. have you guys had similar experiences? or was i just unlucky? or is it just part of the game?
    ps. they were all from beer bars or soi 6.

    the whole setup in pattaya seem more dirty than bkk or phuket, ie linda bar, jsb, hi-boss etc. but i have never caught anything from lbs in pattaya, only from ggs.
    its more common to do short times in the lbs' rooms, and quite often they are very minimalistic(to be nice), and also some of the short time rooms ive used when the lbs have suggested them are also very dirty, but cheap. actually the rooms in hi boss look likes suites compared to what i have been to elsewhere in pattaya. and then i am more anxiuous to catch anything from the sheets than the girls.

      Rayton, I suspect that you're more knowledgeable and vigiliant re STDs than most. for me, if something looks bad, I back off, but I'm not looking for something specific.

      Exactly how do you do your body check?

        i think you are pretty unlucky. i have seen many forms of stds in my clinical practice and have not "bumped" into a lb or gg with one. that is not to say they are all safe. you have to use your head.

              I don't believe I've ever had a problem with the ladyboys in Bangkok. I'm no doctor, but I do a visual check just to make sure everything seems to be in working order. However, Relpax gives good advice - use your head (you know which one he's referring to). Most STDs won't have visual cues so just because it looks clean, doesn't mean it is!

                You make a great point that many STD are clinically occult and/or have a long latent period. All the more reason to use your head. It is still frightening that people will go bareback with paid workers.
