Well, maybe I'm just a dreamer but I sent this off to Howard Stern yesterday...

It's an email suggesting that we (AsianTS.com) have our own radio show on one of his channels over at Sirius. (He has two channels that he comtrols... 100 & 101.)

Am I jerking off or is this really a good idea? I reckon that we could have a real ratings grabber here. But then I know jack shit about radio and even less about how to get this thing started!

Still - if we became the first 'mainstream' porno site to have a radio show (especially on Sirius) I reckon we could pretty much control the Earth within a few months!

Ideas (good and bad) are welcome!

Advice is very welcome! I'd really like us to be the first to do this.

I have been downloading all the Howard Stern programs each day and I tell you what - this IS the new age of radio broadcasting. I didn't know much about Stern before other than he was a cool radio presenter always on the run from his own sense of humor, but after listening to the first seven shows of his rebirth I can tell you that THIS bloke knows what it's about. (Maybe he really IS the King of all media!)

The shows are over 4 hours and I load them on my phone and listen to them all day!

I think he is gonna make it available on the internet any day/week now!

I think the pitch is great.

Even if you don't get your own deal, you may wind up on Stern, which wouldn't be bad for the hits.

Knowing a little about radio (not much myself, but spending a lot of talk with guys who DO know something about radio) I have a hard time finding the angle that makes it good radio. But then again I'm a very visual guy.

And, on the other hand, Stern manages to turn sex into verbal entertainment. I guess the question is, do you think you have the personality to BE the show.

In radio talk, it's all about the personality.
Whether you love them or hate them; think for a moment about Howard Stern, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Dr. Laura, etc.

These are people with huge, big, overflowing personality. Easy extemporaneous speakers.

Oh yeah... the best thing to do for radio is put together a demo. Just record whatever you can come up with. If you can mix it together with some PC software, that's even better.

a show that stands on its own might be a bit far fetched. where would you get all the content and how could you fill so much time/?? What I COULD see would be a segment on some show. Howard would probably take the piss but there would be tons of guys who would secretly gravitate towards our scene. would love to talk about this when I come over again in Feb. Stogie. I've been a long time fan of Howard Stern and have watched every show he's ever had on the E! Channel before he left the network about 6 months ago.

As for Sirius & XM I have both of them and can get most all of there channels except for Howard (for now) since that channels not on the Echo-7 satellite. I found the music on Sirius to be way better then XM. I've listened to the Andy and Opy show on XM and didn't think is was too special. As for Howard he's got a new TV show but it's only on In Demand and that€™s cable only so I have no Satellite feeds to pick him up on anymore!

Howard€™s had transsexuals on his show before so he€™s cool with just about anything and anyone.

I agree with Grunyen , the best thing to do would be to put together a demo of some kind, or how about setting up our own internet radio station, say maybe broadcasting for a couple hours on a Sunday and see how it goes from there.

Interesting to say the least. From a business standpoint, potientially a great coo for AsianTS. For me the consumer of LB's? I see increased demand and cost of the "product" and less availability. As it is now, land in LOS and pretty much have the pick of the litter, when and where you want. At a bargain price. Once the masses get turned on to our little niche. There goes paradise. However, the one flaw in the radio concept is that they can not see the girls. Perhaps that is enough to keep the interest in our little corner of the world to a low roar. On the other side of the coin, I'm sure you'll be doing your damnest to drive'em to your site to see all the lovies in their glory. I think we all outta catch the next flight out to LOS before all hell breaks loose. Or at least to have a brew or two and ...LB or two.....three.....four...

I suggest you send in a video demo. Use some of his routies, such as having a line up of gg's and lb's (stock it with some of the really beautiful lb's) and having tourists try to pick out the lb's, then let the winner get a date with the gg or lb of his choice (and film the date). Maybe do a a "day in the life of a lb" video (such as with the amazing Odet, showing her during the day w/out makeup, going shopping, etc., and then how she looks when she gets all made up). Or do a vid with them playing Wheel of Sex, or just mud wrestling.

I bet that would get Stern's attention. You might not get a full time show on Sirius, but he might run it on his in demand channel.

I think that could get this site some good publicity.

Instead of the hefty demand of having to come up with constant material...

Come up with your own InDemand show. Pitch it to the cable companies and negotiate the distribution with them yourself. Just like Howard's "butt bongo" and other specials he does occasionally.

I've got several InDemand channels with varrying degrees of "adult" entertainment. Whenever you feel like some more cash, just make a new show.

Some of the InDemand shows are pretty low rent. Obviously just made with hand held camcorders and some PC software... topics like Atlanta strip joints, and Jersey hookers.

Well First of all, I need to be the D.J. for ATS.COM Radio.  If the shows formatte is done in a Not so BIZZARRO WORLD way I think it would FLy.  Yes,,Yes,, Poke fun and ask all those Embarrasing questions but you also have to introduce The Striaght acting Men who Love Ladyboys. They need to be a big part of the show.  And Yes, Postie'O would get a LARGE FILL of Post-ops, their a little less threating to the Homophobic Males. I also would try and Find G.G.'s who are turned on my the Ladyboys too.  The only problem I see if the Idea was given serious thought would be the Language barrier.  You'd have to put a translator on the payroll.

Asian-ts Radio ?

I do actually host a 2 hour program on a community radio station (music based)...and while I agree with Stogie's enthausiam about a program , there obviously has to be a great deal of thought about the content, for as some previous writer's have said Ladyboys are a visual medium and trying to convey what attracts men to these ladys without the visual would be hard (no pun).

My initial thought really would be an information based program such as .... treatment of the lady's , going prices , std, viagra (and its effects). Things along that line but I really do not know if it would continue on a regular basis, also you have to consider what the working girls think about having there name mentioned ( both good and bad reports) on there performance.

Also, as a previous writer mentioned , what happens to the prices and availability of the girls . Do you end up with a bunch of hardend girls as they are now a real profession ? along with what happens to the girls if there respective governments do not like this aspect of there tourism trade being brought out into the public.

While I agree it would be good to be the first but a whole lot of thought and planning has to go into a venture such as this otherwise the outcome may make fellow tourists life's difficult.

That is my 2 cents worth for now.
