Well, I'm the one writing the book! And I am not doing it for money, in fact, I'll publish the first few thousand on my own money and any money made will go into a fund I'm creating to help LBs in business. It is somewhat of a follow-up to The Third Sex, and will be named something like The Third Sexuality, meaning, it's about how male to LB is not homosexual, and not heterosexual. Been in the works for 2 years. It's the start of a multi-dimensional series of things I'm doing to make LBs viewed more positively (and guys who go with LBs, mmmm, like you?).

However, can't blame anyone for being skeptical. There's a few really, really bad books out there, on Thailand. Badly written, with a catchy title / cover, and complete crap inside. Quest for Ladyboys made me so pissed off, it accelerated my editing / writing to get this out.

Well, you guys be the judge. I let you know when it's ready. I can feel the tomatoes already.

i'm sure your work will be fine as long as you don't use words like "multi-dimensional". one rule of good writting. after ever sentence, stop, look at it and ask your self if raymond chandler would have written a sentence like that. if the answer is no, delete it.

Anyone who has read many of Ziggy's posts could see he is someone who is capable of writing a good book about ladyboys.
I for one look forward to it and will definitely BUY a copy as soon as available.
Since those who love ladyboys comprise a very small number when compared to the guys who like GGs or Thai guys, it is a comparatively small audience to begin with, so I think Ziggy deserves all our support for undertaking this enterprise.

Ah, no bad intent felt from the inital post. If I write something crappy, I want people to tell me. If it's good, great. It will most certainly contain a lot of info for the newbie. And I was absolutely thinking of throwing out free copies to this most knowledgeable forum, because, if there is ever a good crowd to critique, this is it.

To give you an idea of things that still piss me off, and a partial incentive for looking at a book...a writer for the Associated Press released the most copied article on Miss Tiffany's Universe 2005. It referred to the LBs as transvestites. It even noted last year's winner had all operations (breasts, dick); but still calls her a transvestite. A transvestite is a man in drag for sexual gratification. A transsexual identifies pschologically with the opposite sex and wants to live that way, and may have operations. So the f'g world still thinks Thai LBs are men. And if you look at the Tiffany's coverage, about 20 newspapers world-wide called them transvestites. The whole idea of The Third Sex is not understood, I guess, understandably so. However, thinking of these works of art as "Men looking for sexual gratification dressed as the opposite sex" is way off.

BTW, I'm on the forum for the jokes and to give advice some LB newbies. I have the unbelievable gift of living in BKK, about 10 minutes for LB heaven, with a good job to pay for the adventures. So that's how I'm fortunate enough to meet almost every LB that's mentioned here! I figure I should give something back to newbies to avoid all the stupid things I did. I'm not brilliant on the joke side, but I do love you guys.
