Questions from a total newbie

New to the board and still trying to get the terminology down.  What/where is LOS?  I had my first LB experience in NYC a few years ago, but things have really changed here.  Most of the TS clubs have been closed and now there are only "parties" held on certain nights, but the Asian girls are few and far between.  I'm working on a trip to Thailand, but not sure where to start.  I've looked through the Travel forum but that just added to my confusion.  Are there many LB's in Phuket year round or is it a seasonal type of thing?  Should I just plan a trip to BKK?  Thanks for your help and if anybody knows where all the Asian ladys hang in NYC, I'd appreciate the tip.

LOS = Land of smiles and maybe also in this forums case land of sin.... shoudl you go to Bangkok? Hahaha - you bet. Get your ass to Bangkok and blow $2000 in 1 week. NYC? who knows, but I can tell you it won't be little cutsie asian LB like in Thailand.

you can try Ina's around midnight on a saturdays.

but my main tip, is put any money you'd spend in nyc into your thailand fund.

you can do pattaya, thailand on 100 bucks a day. this includes hotel, an all nighter (known as long time), food, drink, thai massage, and an afternoon shortime.

I was in Washington 2 weeks ago and spent a few hours on the internet looking for LBs. The rates there are $250 minimum / hour! I cannot imagine having pleasure doing that. There are very few girls in Thailand who watch the clock (except Mint the Meat), and even not watching the clock, the price is $25-$40 per short-time outing (short=until like 3AM?). And, by the way, they are sweet on top of that. The Washington models looked like they might knife you after the hour was over.

LOS - Land of Smiles, another name for Thailand.

There are ladyboys in all the tourist spots year round. While it is true some ladyboys will temporarily relocate during low season and even go home to see the family, there are always still plenty left over.

I would say follow the advice of the other members and save your pennies for your Thailand trip and utilise Mrs Palmer until then
