I finally had a chance to purchase the first season of Nip and Tuck after a friend recommended the show to me. I don't watch much television outside of Soccer and NFL games but this show is the best show I have seen in a while. The only dramas that I have seen that rival it are "The Sopranos" and "Six Feet Under". What does this have to do with ladyboys? Several shows in the first season deal with ladyboys and their decision to do reassignment surgery and peoples prejudices and misconceptions about transexuals and the like. This is the first show that I have seen go so in depth into the psychological impact of reassignment surgery and how transexuals are treated in the USA.
For those of you who like girls as well, the show is just off the charts for topics. One episode had a doctor taking his partner's 16 year old virgin son to a porn party and he ended up fucking a "fluffer". That same son ends up having a threesome with his ex gf and her new gf in cheerleader outfits. In a later episode, one doctor trades his Lambhorghini for the other doctor's model gf. The outrageous plotlines are balanced by an underlying moral compass that leaves the viewer to decide which part of the continuum they are on. For those in the USA, they are selling the first season for $16.99 at Costco which is a huge bargain considering the show was selling for $49 when it first came out. The second season is a bit more but you can also rent the shows at Blockbuster and burn them if you wish.
