Well, well. I thought I was old hat. I read Private Dancer. I've been with 100s of girls. I'm the master. I can spot trouble a mile away. I can read tea leaves. I can pick out a thief in a crowd...

You may recall the twins. "X" the blond twin doesn't work, and went to Singapore to work in Salon. I visited her and she was very tired from working all day doing hair, nails. "X" also never did photos except those with me.

Well, "X" did photos on another web-site. And, after doing a photoshoot of "Apple" from KC3 (lovely girl), we started talking about Singapore. Turns out Apple knows X, who works at the same bar as her.

Ah!

Moral of the story. Thai GGs and LBs are, with little doubt, the world's best liars. What's even more pathetic in this story is that "X" told me which of her friends not to trust and which ones were ok (obvioulsy leaving out her own name in all this).

So sorry about that, Ziggy. What is especially sad is that this was not a P4P scenario, of which we all deep down (should) know illusions and fantasy are spinned in the web.

When deception enters a non P4P encounter, it can be much harder to take. You are certainly not the first and will not be the last to be duped. That is probably not overly comforting, but the sheer beauty (and cunning) of some of these Thai ladies has deceived many a supposed veteran of the scene.

When little red flags start appearing, it is best to heed the warning and trust your instincts.

You will bounce back, I am sure. Keep your head up.

As pistolero said you are not the first and will certainly not be the last. I have been duped a few times but luckily never really cost me anything in the financial or emotional stakes luckily.

So how did you confront her about her apparent memory loss?

Thanks for 'fessing up' and letting us know that we all can get into trouble at times despite how much we think we know and despite how much we want to believe in our own abilities to 'suss out' our chosen partners.

I suppose that it's a bit of a blow when it comes from someone who supposedly isn't on the game, but should it be?

I mean Thailand is awash with tales of woe from guys who have been 'done' over' by sweet innocent Issan gals who have never kissed a boy! Expecting this kind of behaviour from bar girls (or at least not being surprised when it happens) diminishes the fun of P4P a little bit.

(Anyone else not like that silly expression 'P4P'?)  

Anyway - it's a valuable lesson for all of us reading about this incident and it reminds us that maybe we should act a little more cautionary with our purse (and heart) strings and pay more attention to the tugging strings of those 'red flags!'

Anyway..last night I was chetting in MSN with a 'notorious' girl who is in more than one site. Quite a gorgeous one although probably not at superstar level.

She is a bit in money trouble..really??? ..never heard of this
She told me that has to freelance around Nana and see 'occasionally' clients, and asked me if I would like to become her 'serious' b/f!!
Oh..she bothered to ask me if I mind she does some freelancing... of course not I said..it seems very normal in a b/f-g/f relationship..duh!!

Then, about 15 seconds later she said that she could be a very good g/f for me! Nice, sweet, loyal..well..OK..a part for those freelancing and occasional clients..and so on..

What's totally puzzling with X is that she wouldn't take money from me, literally. But goes to work in a bar in Singapore? Can't figure that out. Perhaps mama doesn't know about this. However, on the up side, there is a beautiful, blond girl in Singapore as of today, who is charming, but with hidden secrets.

Anyhow. For anyone who hasn't read Private Dancer, read it. We need to start quoting passages from it. It should be our bible. I'm going to re-read it to get my head re-centered.

Well..part of the complex asian mentality, think about that.
She was introduced to you as a 'normal' girl, right?

Normal/regular girls don't go around asking money when they bed someone.

I've had 3 experiences so far, one with a GG in Taiwan ages ago and, more recently, two with LBs. One lives in S'pore and she is very 'famous' one and the other is in Kuala Lumpur and also well known. In fact, they both 'work' and some of the guys who are maybe reading this have been with them.

Well..I know that they know that I know...remember the Last Emperor? LOL!! Even thou they do, since we have met in 'normal' circumnstaces, as it happened with the girl in Taiwan, we treat eachother as friends and sex is usually happening when we occasionally meet up and fre of cahrges for sure.

A hypothesis:

Even though many Thai's think only for today, perhaps she was thinking longterm. And I suspect that she might be correct that you are more valuable as a friend than as a customer.

I get the impression that if this girl were really in trouble and not scaming you, let's say a serious medical condition, you would be more inclined to help her out if she never took a baht.

Or maybe, she might want to open a salon. Again, perhaps you would be more likely to helpwith the startup if you are her friend rather than customer.

Also it doesn't even have to make sense, TIT!

Come on guys I want them to lie. I want them to tell me that 50yrs old is not to old, that I'm good looking (even with the extra 30 lbs), that I'm the best lover they have ever been with, that they don't like taller guys and find guys that are 5"5' just perrrrfect, and that they love spending time with me.

Watch what you ask for, you might get it...... and they might telling the truth. There goes my ego.
