this is another thread I picked up on late as I was in Europe when it started. for me there is no point......I feel that until someone can live in Thailand full-time it's pointless to try and find the "nice girls". I just hang out with the hookers, much easier to butterfly and no seperation anxiety when I am away for months at a time. Nice girls and relationship girls are cool if you can live there,but if you can't what's the point?

I'd say that this thread is brilliant for people who are considering their future options.

Yes - you are right... looking for a nice girl only makes sense if you live here. But dreaming about living here and finding that girl keeps many people from killing their wives!

Before I came to Thailand I'd scour the net and forums and chat sites for literally anything that would keep my hopes alive of one day coming here and seeing through my dreams...

Now that you (and I and others) have seen it and done it, it's nice to pass on these same dreams and useful tips to others who are also considering the move, (or who aren't but wish to God that they were in a position to!)

The 'point' is sharing information. This particular thread is full of it!

 I would love to have a relationship with one  of these people that I like which actually MEANS something, rather than just a quick fuck and out the door.  I just know that I have to spend half the year in the states for at least 5 or 6 more years...... why dream of relationships when I know it's not possible until then?   for you guys that are living there or moving there soon,  I am jealous and all the power to you.

   I actually do always find one every year that I like more than all the others and hang with her most of the time. last year I had a young cutie from Cascades; the previous 3 years I found someone as well.  But I know I will be leaving them so I try and not get too emotionally attached, and also I like to keep my options open with other ladyboys and when I am on the road.

     I think it would be cool to have a good relationship with a person I have feelings for and a person who send those feelings back to me. I just know it's not possible at this time and I deal with it, no problems.

Ya, I actually do have it pretty well with these girls and because they all know me the one that I choose has a kind of bragging rights over her friends from the bar scene, even though I am far from any kind of a catch! I always latch on to one in particular; you met the one I liked last year and we probably spent 30 or more nights together which was all good. she was great at doing my dishes and cleaning my apartment LOL, and even brought over her cute friend Nut for 3somes on occassion. and of course I could screw anyone else whenever I wanted and she couldn't say a thing; hell, she worked in a go-go bar!
