Just a word of warning from my experience...If you are deali ng with non pros.....and you do the fuck and forget trick it is likely the girls will feel very pissed off about that.....and life could get difficult for you if you do it too often.

If you want to sort out the innocent from the players...just ask them if they will be asking you for money.....Ask that as soon as you make contact. Many will openly say yes....You then need to consider your reply and your parameters. Some will settle for taxi money...ie 500baht.... Plus a dinner etc.

I usually say up front that I never pay money....and see what happens..... This will reveal what u are dealing with.

Incidenatlly I have taught myself to speak and read basic Thai.....and Thai culture. I dont spend a huge amount of time in LOS.......and when I do I prefer to get out to the privinces...where a previous poster rightly noted there is much fun to be had....and spkng a little Thai helps....but not essential

However, one brief note I wanted to say abuot thi money thing. Let's put our inner Scrooge side to rest for a while. Most of us come from those powerful nations that make up the G-7 and more or less making a comfortable life with some decent, or at least sufficient, amount of money we earn.

Well..it's all relative anyway. It would be hard to set standards I guess. Each of us would give a different answer accoding to each circumnstance. And let's not forgot we are playing with emotions here. Rationality becomes a relative issue..
