Rip off in cascades

Was in Cascades quite a few nights on my recent trip. Anyway one night was having a quite a few drinks and buying many lady drinks. Well the obsessions waiters who were serving me decided to take it upon themselves to add a drink for themselves about every 3 drinks and thought I would not notice thinking I was too pissed

Well I did notice as even after 15 jim beams and although definitely not sober I was certainly far from being drunk enough not to remember ordering certain drinks. In the end they had to pay for their own drinks about 300 baht each and missed out on a tip which I would have happily given them.



I have never been ripped off by the Cascades staff but the Obsessions staff have tried this before down stairs. So just be aware

Not only the girls from Obsession staff moved upstairs but so did the staff and they are MUCH pushier (in fact the normal Cascade staff has NEVER asked me for a tip).

That doesn't cut it. If they work in Cascades then they are Cascades staff. So now this place is turning into a rip-off joint. Well - it probably was before, but now it's pretty blatent if they are screwing the regular punters who go in there every trip. Very sad that the cunts that run these places can't even control the whores and deadbeat fucks that work there...

Depends how you look at it.

The way I see it, in a week or so they will be gone, back to Obsessions and I will not have to worry about the staff at Cascades hounding me to buy them drinks (or worse pad my bill).

If the problem goes away, then it has not turned into a ripoff joint.

They overcharged me around 250 baht back in April this year and i made a post about it then but obviously nobody noticed.

It started in KC3 and now its spread like a virus. The pattern in KC3 is that even though you sign the bill they still stick another two bills in there. The rule in KC3 is that you must keep a head count of the bills. A few KC3 girls work in Cascades part time so i guess that they have spread the message.

In Cascades they keep punching the same tab , so you have to keep track of just how many drinks you had and let them know yr counting. If you  apprear vigilant then they wont fuck around.

Once it starts it never ever ever stops. We just have to live with it or not go in there.

JaiDee is right all ya have to do to avoid this problem is pay as you go...also the staff knows that you are doing this so you dont get taken, it lets them know that your are not new to this scam , then they dont try to rip you off in the first place

I don't think it has anything to do with Obsessions staff. I have been going there for 4 years now, about average 2 times a week now and never saw or heard of a problem. You are talking about individuals, not staff of Obsessions or Cascades or whatever. If they worked in a temple, they'd rip you off.

Despite going to Temptations more than probably any of the few customers they have, they too tried to rip me off, but I don't attach it to Temptations, more to the person. I don't think the mamasan institutionalizes it although she is not my favorite person.

KC3 is a totally different situation. That is institutionalized and mandated by the mamasan.

I think you are right about one thing and that is they would rip you off anywhere. It was not one individual but 2 that both work in obessions and have tried to rip me off in there before. I know I can solve the problem by paying for drinks as I order them but I prefer to pay for everything at the end, even my bar fines.

BTW, Cascades waiters don't hassle you because they are young gay boys who usually cannot get a tip by sweet-talking you and rubbing your dick.

Obsessions waitresses do hassle you to get a tip, as they are all LBs and maybe can swing a tip, just as most waitresses in almost every bar. This is not strange.

Well they may be able to sweet talk a tip from someone else but I only give a tip when I believe the service is good enough to warrant one ladyboy, boy or girl makes no difference to me.
