I agree, Looker, if the shaving has taken place not too long before the contact. It can leave potentially open areas where bodily fluids can escape. On the other hand, if the shaving takes place regularly, the skin adapts pretty well. Look at your face as an example.

There are some newer dipilatory creams that are made for the pubic region, for men or women.
