I was just wondering as i do, what many of us who frequent LOS for LB's actually tell people when we go. Ive been 4 times in the past year and people are always like why do u go back. I lie thru my teeth So how many of you are put in similar situations.....

 you would be amazed how many people these days will change the subject quickly when they ask what you do for work and you answer "I am in Computers".    That answer is so all-encompassing and gets them against being curious any further, especially if they don't know much about PC's.

I have business all over the Middle and Far East and most of my trips do mean i mix bus+ pleasure , well in Thailand and Hong Kong anyway.

So basically its just a Business trip with a bit of R&R. ( except the Middle East -strictly business)

The diamond, ruby, and sapphire markets are the some of the best in the world if you know where to go. Helps to have some nice obviously expense trinket to dangle in front of the folks back home. (You're geting very, very sleepy now. You will not question my motives for travelling to Thailand. It will seem all very natural to you. When you awake you will feel very rested and comfortable and have no memory of this conversation!)

BTW, you do know that you can bring as many loose gemstones as you want back into the States duty-free from LOS, don't you?
