Sad, isn't it, that in this day and age and in America of all places, a person is killed for being different!

that link wouldn't open for me but I have heard about this case; why did they only get Manslaughter?   that implies a mistake when it seems clear these 2 WANTED  to kill this person after they found out.  even in the heat of the moment murder is still murder; they should have gotten 2nd degree.

Sad case but ever so illustrative of what can happen when you mix an unthinking girl who is trans with young libidinous males whose dicks were in charge instead of their heads. Gwen Araujo was guilty of leading these guys on to the point of having sex with her on multiple occasions BUT without them knowing she was transgender. They were like most young men just dying to get their dick in what they thought was some hot loose young cutie.

When they tumbled to the fact that she couldn't be a girl, they were also confronted by the mind-bender that if they had sex with a someone who had a dick it must mean they were homosexuals. To the standard issue macho male that is a severe blow to the ego. The realization totally twisted their minds and caused them to bludgen her to death in retaliation.

To have that issue just dumped on an unsuspecting young male almost certainly will have disastrous consequences. It takes most of us some significant learning and introspection to understand what the reality of gender is and to adjust our thinking and behavior accordingly.

The only conclusions from this totally sad case:

A transgender woman is foolish in the extreme if she leads on any non-understanding heterosexual male, particularly if any sexual activity is involved.

A transgender woman is faced with violence almost as a matter of course if she is outed. Males, even those who have had virtually nothing to do with her, can be quite capable of inflicting severe injuries, perhaps to the extreme of murder.

It's not just males they need to fear. I've seen a GG go apeshit over the presence of TGs. It's just that men are stronger and more violent.

It's not unusual for TG's in USA (mainly hispanic and asians, who are generally the most passable) to date guys that do not know they are really guys. At least, that's what they have told me. They really get a thrill out of this, both in "passing", and in dating "straight" guys.

A lot of them look down their noses at those of us who actually like TG's - - privately they call us "tranny chasers" and "fag hags" (I had thought that phrase just referred to women who like gay guys, but I guess it's been adapted to apply to us too).

IMO, I think it is evidence of their own self-hatred that they look down at us guys who would actually like to be with them (kind of like that old joke about the guy who would "never join a country club that would have him as a member!").

So I can absolutely believe this TG led on those 3 guys. Although, based upon their youth, and their crime, it's pretty obvious those guys were no rocket scientists. No doubt, they were young, stupid, and quick to violence to prove they "were no fags".

I don't think this is anything new. TS's live a tough life. But their own insecurities make them targets.

Like I told that guy who posted here about hoping to find a LT relationship with a hot TS in Los Angeles, these girls are more likely to be attracted to bad boys that will treat them like shit than they are to nice guys with whom they could have successful LT relationships. They take their chances, and sometimes they pay the price.

Sad, but that's life I guess.

My own young lady has been propositioned a couple of times. Once by a guy she was showing around an apartment and once by a policeman! She was like a kid with a new toy when she told me about these

This does not just apply to ladyboys. I have experience of one young lady who got herself in the same situation. The boyfriend injured one of his work colleges. He was removed from his job and was facing prosecution.
She still loved him. It was only a question of time until her hurt her

The 'old guy' was Goucho Marx - before he was famous he attempted to join a society club in New York. They refused him because he was Jewish. After he became famous they wrote to him offering honorary membership - his reply was as per your quote.

That was an excellent post ! Spot on in every detail. I do think some transexuals do make a rod for there own backs ! Dating straight men is obviously a precarious event and has been proven over and over again unfortunately with the resulting evidence that said transexual is murdered but murdered horribly to more often that not !

These sub humans deserve to rot in jail for sure and I really hope young us ts ladies do the right thing and understand that heterosexual men hate being deliberately duped and made to feel like idiots that they could not distinguish between a male/female. Unfortunately there are hetero men out there with a half inch of brain that will kill if they see a chick with a dick !!

It is wierd to think ts ladies dislike ts admirerers but I suppose that can be true sadly !

Both of the stories mentioned above are considered on an HBO (USA Only) documentary showing soon called The Middle Sex. Look out for it. It's very dramatic and informative. (Nice segment on Thailand, too!)

(Channel 4 viewers in the UK may have seen a British version of that documentary a few weeks ago.)

Good point, Grim. Guys (and women) who have no experience with nor intelligence to comprehend the many gender possibilities tend to respond to the unknown by fearing it and reflexly striking out against it. Including violence against those who associate with people considered to be gender aberrant.

The many murders commited on gay men are the most visible and grisly manifestations but barely the tip of the iceberg of descriminative actions society takes against alternative gender people. How many of us are out to our friends and family, let alone the public at large? And why not? Because of the general discrimination and potential physical threat to us, of course. I'd soon be out of business in the very least if my preferences were known locally.

Calpernia Addams, the real Soldier's Girl, is a intelligent and well-spoken lady. She has used her terrible experience with the murder of her boyfriend, Barry Winchell, in the military system to lobby for the advancement of gender understanding and transgender women in particular. She's had the SRS, unfortunately to my taste, but the public in general can empathize with her much more easily now that she's cut. Although I suppose if RuPaul can get away with blatantly being a girl with a dick anything is possible.

If you've not had the opportunity to see the movie (actually made for Showtime), it's well recommended. The actor, Lee Pace, who plays Calpernia does it very well and with real compassion. You'll be hardpressed to recognize this fellow as male although he has had the benefit of Hollywood's finest to make sure he passes. He does have fake tits grafted on but you can't really tell.
