I am back in Bangkok on Sunday, can anyone tell me if Obsessions will be back open, i think's its been a month but you know what thai time is like, maybe November!

Kai was talking to the papasan tonight and he hoped the bar would be open in 4-5 days. (but remember that is 4-5 days thai time )

No chance 4-5 days, 2 -3 weeks more like by the looks of the place the other night, Kai and all the others were still plying their trade upstairs , which by the way looks bloody ridiculous when theres' about 2 punters in there.

I actually missed the old place when I went there last weekend, NEP just didnt seem right without the dodgy lookin' neons winking at me as I havin a beer downstairs.
Better to have a choice of a few places I reckon, Temptations was so dire I didnt even stay for a drink, but Cascades has never been a let down I agree.
A funny thing happened to me when I was a having a drink in one of the beer bars. One of the girls who I have chatted with a few times.Greeted me with a huge grin and said
"Ahh I see you! Last week I see you with ladyboy! I thought U liked them!"
It was weird because I think its the first time anyone has actually come out with it to my face.
I just had to nod and laugh about it, didnt stop her wanting to go with me.

Somehow the run down seedy Obsessions always holds an appeal to me. Even though I have not been able to go back there for about 2 years now.

It almost seems to embody what I'd expect from a go-go bar with ladyboys.

Just don't sit in the seats just inside the door on the left - the're bloody uncomforable

I just did talk with a girl from Cascades and she told me in cascades are now about 100-120 ladyboys and almost no customer.
But she also told me when Obsessions will be reopen then only post-op girls will work there? Is that true? Has anybody more inofmation?

Yeah, seems like the rumour mill has hit overdrive, I've also heard thats gonna be postop type thing ala KC3 and also that its gonna be a GG bar, but I guess thats just hearsay.

I had something similar said to me some time ago. The real crazy thing is that even in NEP alone there must be over 1000 gg's and ladyboys. And allegedly the girls and the ladyboys don't talk to each other - go figure?

A bit spooky cus in August the EXACT thing happened to me.... tell me her name was not Tu was it?.... must be a good line cuz i ended up doin her short time and she loved it....must have a fettish for us LB lovers... BTW if it is the bar in the centre then dont go playing 'connect 4' game with the owner or you will get stung for drinks! heheh... funny how they always pic on the pissed Brits on these stupid games that u just know u will get shafted on !
