Well, I'm with an absolutely wonderful girl called Kif the last 2 days from Temptations. She's the 3rd girl from there that told me the mamasan consistently asks for money from them after they come back from a customer evening.

Then, there's the famous KC3 mamasan who is the witch of witches from hell. She INSTRUCTS her servers to put extra bills in your cup when you go to exit, and INSTRUCTS some LBs to steal from you (like your mobile). And both of these things have happened to me when there. This is 100% confirmed, as about 5 LBs told me this who work there.

How can we get back at these fucking monsters? It really pisses me off that they can be so twisted and get away with it? What's even more annoying is that they survive long periods of time. The KC3 mamasan has been there forever. The Temptations mamasan has been there from Day 1.

Then, there's the opposite, like the Obsessions and Cascades mamasans who are near angels. As far as I know, after 3 years here, I have never heard a bad word about them, in fact, always the opposite. One of the Obsessions mamasans (a man), seems to have more fun than anyone else there, girls and customers included, and I've rarely seen him without a good laugh happening.

Twice I have left no tip at all at KC3 and when asked why I say its because they tried to cheat me. I'd thought this would have no effect at all, but recently KC3 and King's Corner have a new policy of having you sign the drink recipt, I hope this is to minimize scamming.

most mamasans are old hag ladyboys who are jealous of the younger crowd and treat them like shit.  I have never gotten to know the Mama at Obsessions but Tak from Cascades is a stand-up ladyboy who treats the girls nicely and they all like her, and she treats the customers well also. Best of all, she loves what ATS does for the bar and treats us very well.

KC3....twice a year is enough for me and I rarely take anyone from there, my wild night with Snick in May when I took 2 after having too many beer chang's was a rare exception. we all know the stories from there and personally I prefer Nana.

Funny but several lb's from Obsessions have told me that the pimp (guy) in there is a mean bastard and regularly takes money from them and makes them work hard. He also insists they pay the bar fine even if you pick up the girl outside the bar !! I have been told that he hangs around NEP after closing to see which girls get customers so he can extort more money from them and he regularly fines them for being late to work. He particularly targets the "high" earners surprise surprise ! No wonder he is smiling so much !

Yeah I loved Tak, got a great vibe from her... she's great fun to hang with when your there. Be sure to buy her a few shots of whisky! Noon adores here too and that says alot about mamasan Tak... Noon told me that Tak helps her and other girls with school... so Tak's support of the girls extends beyond just the club.

As for KC3 and the Patpong experience it's best not to even waste any time down there... the whole Patpong is full of rip-offs these days.

You could have be right about all.
Nobody knows what is correct and real.
But I had a very good and friendly meeting with him in obesession. Ok, I had to pay the normal bar fine for my lady over this 18 days. But my feeling about him and my seeing about him for to take away one of his best and attractive girls give me another result.

KC3 is owned by the Kings Group whos head office used to be in Patpong and whos Bars in the old days were known for NOT getting ripped off in. They were also sponserd by PEPSI cola at one time and the owner, an old boy, used to sit on a rocking chair outside Kings Corner every day watching the world go by......it was the other bars, the ones that didnt take credit cards that were ripping the customer off.

Funny how its gone full circle. I think Kings Group own all the bars in Patpong anyhow now.

My theory is that as long as the Mamasan was charging extra and  not skimming off the top , the owners turned a blind eye as they still get the full kitty. However like Snick said , they make you sign the bill in some Kgroup bars and so i would assume that someone big shit must have made a complaint.

Well that's certainly an interesting perspective Donnnnny. Actually, knowing mamasans has helped me out a lot. When be-friended, they can keep you clear of good vs bad girls, and give good tips on a good match as they get to know you; which has worked for me. As for not taking mobiles, I'd rather suggest a good mobile case that's attached to your belt (as I have). On the boycotting KC3, that's been talked about a lot, the problem is most of the clients are first-timers and aren't on forums like this, so I'm afraid it is unlikely to ever happen unless police get involved. But what tourist will go to police in a place like Patpong, and I hear she is well connected, meaning, if you go to the police, it's likely you that goes to jail vs her.

I was actually wondering if long-timers like some of us on the forum start asking them straight out whey they steal from their own girls, and just start putting some pressure on them from the customer side, or maybe go to the owners of the bars in a similar way and tell them the truth about the mamasans. I'm not boycotting KC3 as in fuck you I'll show you. But rather, why go there when I have better alternatives. The one time I was there it seemed the girls had an attitude. And the stories I hear here makes me less likely to go back.

i really don't see any reason to spend much time in Bangkok other than touch base with friends. Yes, it is cool to go to to the fantasy land of Cascades, but I find the Nana bars a bit pushy, even though I can handle myself OK in a pushy situation, why bother if I have other options?

Have to agree on Cocktails & Dreams. It's got nothing but fun written all over it in a great atmosphere with great hosts and barmaid/men. Nick is great fun to talk with, Ting is best barmaid in town. Ning-nong keeps all the girls clean (no drugs allowed), and she is like an angel helping forgotten children at times. But even a few girls there are bitches from hell, but I guess that is world-wide, including with GGs!

Having said all that, there are really 2 parts to this story. Do you have fun at the bar? Do you find ladies you like at the bar? C&D is best bar in my opinion for fun, but I don't like any ladies there to spend a long time with. So, Bangkok it is for the long-time ladies, for me.

We all have different views, so we just need to respect each other for that. Donnnny's approach works for him, PigDog's for him, and mine for mine, and I'm happy everyone has found a groove.
