  • Bit more on seoul and gimme 5

Here's a link to the sports bar mentioned in the previous thread about Seoul - note that the page is unfortunately in Korean!:

    http://www.gimmefive.co.kr

Having said that, it's easy to find a page that has photos of some of the showgirls - very tasty, although hard to tell if they're LBs or GGs, let alone pre- or posties.

One other bit of trivia about this place, it gained notoriety in the world of MMA (mixed martial arts) as the owners were running amateur fight shows with untrained local fighters. They paid one of the cooks US$200 to fight and the poor guy was killed by a blow to the head! He should have stuck to snogging LBs instead...

There are appxo. 15 thai girls and 7 Korean girls. All are TS.

Gimme 5 closed suddenly and without warning Saturday night. Nearly 1/2 of the Thai girls are being sent back to Thailand on Wednesday. The other 1/2 are staying for another 2-3 weeks to work at another club, but they don't know which club. It is unclear where the approx. 7 Korean girls will work.

Doesn't surprise me in the least JT...........its all a part of Seoul's supposed crack down on prostitution and non- resident involvement in it...........a lot of Filipinos are being "deported" as well...........but I''ll bet that if you were to go to the houses frequented by the government officials there would be a great diversity of choice

It's good to King........no matter what the pay

Courage is being scared to death__and saddling up anyway

Billy Jaffe, Radio Voice of the Thrashers:
”I have absolutely No problem with Ohio State. It has a beautiful campus, and for a Junior College it has really great Academics.”

"Gentlemen and ladies, 'Those Who Stay Will Be Champions' is for you too. It's for every Michigan fan that's out there. When the going gets tough, you don't cut and run. It's not the Michigan way. If I heard it once from the old man, I heard it a thousand times -- when the going gets tough you find out who your real friends are, and that's why we must stay. Because there will be championships, and this staff and these kids will bring those championships here."

Actually, I think it was because of simple business reasons...expenses exceeded income. It had a heavy afterwork crowd but by 10-11pm, the place was less than 25% full and even less so as the night wore on. With all the various entertainment and games, I'm sure operating costs (including paying and housing 15 thai + 7 Korean TSs) were high. Yes, some of the girls worked, but it seemed for of an exception rather than the rule and if it happened, it was generally out of sight of the management (or regulators).

It was a shame because the girls are mostly ex Alcazar & Tiffany who were looking for a clean job with a decent salary. Now it is unclear what any of them will do. Some will go back to Pattaya and others are looking for other cabarets (i.e., Taiwan, HK, etc.).

Not sure about this - a couple of my Korean work colleagues used to frequent a club in Mok-dong favored by some of the Blue House staffers - now closed as well for lack of business out of fear of discovery

Seems both Korean Air and Asiana have added extra weekend flights to Bangkok, Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Ho Chi Minh to handle the frustrated Korean punters

Guess Smuttley and I should take the hint as well

There's been a change in plans for the girls. It looks like they've got a job working for 2-3 weeks in Taegu.

Daegu is the third-largest city of Korea located in the southeastern portion of the peninsula

Best access is by KTX (the Korean bullet train) every 20 minutes from Seoul station (1+40 enroute) or every 30 minutes from Busan station (1+ 10 enroute)

Jtatis - any word on which club they have moved to, and how long they will be there?

The whole group is back in Seoul renewing their visas. It's unclear where they will work--the manager is pursuing some leads. Maybe in Daegu...mabye Taejon...maybe Seoul. I'll keep you posted on their movements once their plans are firmed up.

Our bus load of 15 sweet Thai LBs (of which 2 are post-op) + 2 Korean TS are on their way to Taejon for 1-2 months. Depending on how that goes, most will probably return to thailand. Of those, some will get the cut and try to work at one of the cabarets in Taiwan. One or two may start work in Nana. (One of the girls going to work in Nana, Pond, is great fun and very sexy. Keep an eye out for her in the future.) The rest will return to cabaret work in Pattaya.

Jtatis - did the LBs all end up leaving Seoul?

                      Shame if they did...

The girls are in Taejon for another couple of weeks, performing 3x a night in a nightclub. It's unclear if their contract will be extended. If not, they will likely all return to Thailand.

If Smuttley can get his liberty card, I'd like to drag him down to Daejon this weekend to catch up with the girls before they finish in Korea

Club name / location / details appreciated

                          With thanks

Damn! Gimme5 was the best thing that ever happened to Seoul. And the manager was very strict on them not working, although they still did, just very clandestinely. Seoul was once prostitute capital of Asia, now it's becoming a police state.

You have got that nailed Ziggy

Since the Korean economy started booming within the last decade or so and with the rapid influx of wealthy businessmen from all over Asia and Europe taking advantage of this rapidly rising economy, the "business women" have priced themselves out of the reality range. Then along with the influence of the US military prostitution, which has always been illegal, has suddenly became "REALLY ILLEGAL" , yet if you hang around the "ville" until after 1AM when all the good little GIs are tucked away in their beds, the hookers are flowing freely, well freely is proabaly a relative term there, freely for as much as $300.00 for a quickie.

At any rate as I have stated many times before it is much more fiscally responsible to save your pennies to fly to LOS if you can find the time. A roundtrip ticket is only around $350.00. The little adventure that thick81 and I had to the TS clubs was fun and involved some incredibly beautiful Ladyboys, both pre and post-op but if we would have partaken in at the quoted prices along with the sitdown costs we could have a very nice weekend in NEP.

Al that being said..........hey JT pass on some info on this club in Tajeon, spoke with thick81 last night and we're going to ride the bullet train down there next weekend and check this place out. All we need is a location or the name of the club!!!!!!

Get back with us if you can
