Please, no more pics from other websites

Please note that this thread will be front and center on the Picture Post forum and the main forum now for about a week and will be pinned to the top.

We have tolerated the posting of other photos found on the internet for comparison purposes only, usually to talk about a girl who now appears on this website and may have looked completely different on another one before, or something similar to that. Website owners have never cared for the most part or may have never noticed, but frankly this has gotten out of hand up here and we will put a stop to it right here and now. Photos found on the internet are someone else's property, plain and simple, and we have no right to use them here, deleted logo's or not. We would feel the same way of people used our photos on other websites, and so we won't tolerate people who read here posting pics from theirs.

a few types of photos may be used here; vacation pics of the ladyboys you have met, their pics from face-pic or other dating sites [those are for public consumption anyway], and any of the photos from this website. From this point forward any pics from other websites will be deleted as soon as they are seen without warning by any one of the moderators here.

Since this is the case why are the threads 'hot new babe' and 'posting pics with logo removed' still up in this part of the forum?
If I was a mod, they would have been nuked before you ever saw them.
I completely see you point, as I know you would be very upset to find your pics somewhere else on the net sans logo.

Make them Wear a DUNCE HAT for an AVATAR, better yet, make it so they can not change their AVATAR in the control panel. Stick them with an AVATAR that Reads;

I like to see the pics too, but the only person on this forum that I owe any allegiance to is JD. And he has said in the past that he does not want pics with the logos from other sites on the forum. Why should he give them free advertising? If someone posted one of his pics with logo on another TS site's forum, how long do you think it would last? At the top of this thread he has said no more pics from other sites with logos removed. Since the two threads I mentioned fall under each of those two categories, then if I were a moderator, I would just nuke them b/c as a moderator it would be my responsibility when I viewed threads to make sure they fell under the parameters JD set forth.
That has in the past been the standard modus operandi on this forum, until I heard from the horse's mouth that it has changed, then I would just live by it, whether I liked it personally or not.
I do feel personally that he gives the widest berth allowed as for what we can post that I've seen on any forum dedicated to this genre. Why push the envelope when there is something stated specifically as clear as black and white, that he does not want posted?

I always cut the logo's out with respect to ATS... Ape may have some nice pics but thats it.... I don't want to send anyone to his site (sorry Ape) But the fuss started with another dude called Ice Cycle who has his own site and was a poor sport about some pics that he claimed was his own and had the logos removed.

there is no arguement here...... stogie and I had always had a disagreement as to whether or not other people should show photos from other websites here, me saying that it was a bad idea but allowing it for comparison purposes only or for saying "does anyone know where this girl works", etc.... in that case, I felt like it was OK to help someone out [either a customer here or a model] but bottom line is that other people took those pics and we can't show them here and *I* am the one that would get in trouble for that, not stogie or any of you guys posting them.

this is not being done as a favor to any one person or website, it is being done to protect our interests and stay within the law.

JD I understand your point of view, and I agree when people claim, removing logo is some kind of thief.
but, bottom line, I think by doing this rule you're closing doors to something.
I do not think it is making advertising to other site if you post pics with logo on it, most the people reading this forum already know the majority of other sites.
I think this forum is great because is very open and free, so why if other webmasters dont care about posting their picture here if their logo is on, why do not allow this.
it is great to be different and do not think just making ad to other site but make this forum just different and,BTW, greater than other...think different

yes, we want to be different, but we don't want to have lawsuits. of course everyone knows about ladyboy-ladyboy and all the other sites, that is no secret; and showing their logos here or those of similar sites will not really hurt us because people either have seen them and decided to not join them or they simply join both. it's not really a threat to us to show other peoples photos, that is not the point here..... truth is that if one of those webmasters sees their pics here that THEY paid for they can make waves for us and do I really need those headaches? as a Thai person would say, I need that for what?

Sure you're 100% right!
But may be you should set up an agreement with some other websites (I know it should sound a bit tricky), and allow a registred list of other website to have their pic on this forum, but I reckon it is an extra work and may be some more headache, so why doing this if you do not need it ?
May be to get this forum even more popular than other and keep this place being the best goldmine for Ladyboy information, is it not a good good point ?!

I would recommend nuking the pictures (if possible) or just posts that contain them and not the complete thread as it might have valuable information in it. Also why should those who abide by the rules have their thoughts removed because someone else mad a mistake?

The problem for us is one of our own success. In the past when this forum was not really used then posting pics from anyone else would not have raised many eyebrows.

Things have changed and we do get a lot more people stopping by (to either just browse through the posts or to contribute.) The forums that I have seen on other sites are very badly moderated and as a result of that they don't have many contributors.

So if we make a habit of posting other peoples content then this is bound to inspire a bit of antagonism. It's not fair for the sites that pay for the content and we simply don't need the hassle.

Let's face it - we throw up about 2,000 pictures a month of our own. It's not like we even need to post pics from other sites.

As for Lonely and his sidekick Icycle - well, they can't really be characterized as 'competition' until they have reached the magic 'sign up' figure of 10!

IF there is not to be other site's pics posted here, logo or no logo, then why are the two threads containing the pics of Fern still up on the site?
If you would be following what JD prefers for the forum the first thread would have been deleted when first seen and if that would have happened the 2nd thread would not have gotten started at all.

I second the motion, Jiap aka Jeab is nice girl and as Ozzie said, really aims to please. Was with her my first night in Phuket and probably would have spent more time with her but after traveling with one ladyboy 24/7 the prior week I needed to butterfly.
