U.S. Marine found guilty of killing transgender Filipino

A US Marine was found guilty of killing a Filipino ladyboy. He apparently met her at a bar in Olongapo Philippines in October 2014 while he was on leave, during joint military exercises between the two countries. He went back to his room with 2 ladyboys but after receiving a blowjob from the one he discovered her secret then attacked her and drowned her in the toilet. He left her dead in the hotel room, leaving only 30 minutes after renting the room. He was convicted of homocide and will spend between 6 and 12 years in prison. He was also ordered to pay 4.5 million pesos to her family to compensate them for their loss in earning power.
