Gosh, I didn't know I wasn't supposed to do these things! Good that I can still suck and other things. Taboos are meant to be broken. Read up. These violations can get you arrested and robbed by the royal thai police!

I think the only one I didn't know is the whistling at night.

In addition to not hugging monks, you should not give money to every monk you see.
Almost every Thai man becomes a monk at some point, but just because they are dressed as one no need to give money.
Better you give at a temple or official event as many of these guys are just trying to get some beer money.
