When she was younger, some boy burned her arm just being mean. She has some smaller burn scars too, but that one she is very self conscious about, even though it isn't as bad to other people as she thinks it is. Since the skin under the band aid stays lighter from no sun, this makes the scar more noticable than if she didn't wear one so the skin could darken, but she doesn't want others to see the scar so she covers it.
Hopefully someday she can afford laser surgery to remove it, then she won't have to worry about it.Comment
