Thailand invents gizmo to test food to make sure it is suitably Thai.
So ya some Thai food is great. Tom Yum Kung is one thing that can be quite different between restaurants and regions.
Some is awful and some is beautiful but the key is they are all a little different.
They say they invented this to test Thai cuisine outside Thailand but will this not put pressure on everyone in Thailand to make food exactly the same? In their pursuit of Thai-ness they will make all food exactly the same. Theoretically this ideal, but in reality it sucks.
What about Thai fusion or .......
