It is in Bangkok, on Sukhumvit Road, between Soi 5 and 7. Take a look at this thread: Check In Bar

The only places in Bangkok I have been is NANA, plus I did once walk to Soi Cowboy. I have never been with anyone in Bangkok. Normally for me it is just a short stay before flying home.

If you go out to sukhumvit from Nana, then turn right down the sidewalk past the Landmark hotel then take the stairs over Sukhumvit to the other side before Soi 6. Then walk down to Soi 7 and turn left. You will see a Check In Bar sign pointing down the first alley right at the corner. 4-5 blocks at most.

TM, Crag gave you good directions - it works out to be about 5-7 minute walk from Nana Plaza - quite close. It's on the same side of Sukhumvit Road as the McDonald's and Starbucks.

Here is my raffle donation prize. It still has to make it about 16,000 kilometers to Pattaya from Saskatchewan.
It also will see many obstacles on the way, baggage carriers, customs agents, security guards, and my stomach.
Hopefully it will make it in one piece.

The auction was held a few days after the tournament at Kings Bar due to rain on gameday.

Unfortunately this bottle of gold went for 1200 baht which is less than i paid for it.
Someone got a great deal just like many others at the auction.
