Very interesting points Mike. I have not thought about this too much in the past and also have not seen too many older ladyboys around. Over here in Australia there are a few old transsexuals and they don't seem to age too well. But what about the post-ops, they surely won't go back to living as a man so what happens to them?

There are two TG night clubs in Los Angeles - Club Peanuts (aka Club 7969), and The Lodge. THe latter is where all the old drag queens go - - it's much like the mythic elephant burial ground; lumbering beasts, grey wrinkled skin, thick legs, etc. To look at them is either very sickening, or just damm sad.

Excellent topic, Mike! Actually that's what they do - most of them go back being a man. Sometimes you see this effeminated older Thai men, some still have quite long hair. They are the former bar-girls. I've met once one of them. this IS a good topic, and you know, I often wonder about what happens to ladyboys after the pass 30 or so; I have never personally met more than a handful myself. I think most go to work in hair salons back in the area they came from, or best case scenario start their own businesses.
