Rxpharm asked me to share this here since I knew Ramboz personally. I reported it on LBR yesterday.
This is rather late and for me, very sad news. I had not heard from him for a while and knowing his real name and home town I did a google search and found an obit for him, dated Nov 2010. He was 65 yrs old at that time.
I had the pleasure of meeting him on a few occasions and spent a weekend at his house here in the states a few years ago and he could not have been a more gracious host. He was a very kind, honest and good hearted man.
Ramboz served two tours in Vietnam and was a highly decorated helicopter pilot. When he first made Warrant Officer back in the early 60s, he was the youngest one in the US Army at that time. I believe he'd just turned 19. I've seen plenty of his memorabilia and know for certain he did all the things he talked of having done. He was a legit war hero. I do not know how many of you ever met him, other than JaiDee, but I am sure many of you can remember his posting on the old ATS forum.
RIP old friend. Sorry for being so tardy in acknowledging your passing.
