Sorry I had to wait until I arrived in Singapore to post this as I can't access the site from Thailand.

Ok, I was sitting in Cascades around 9 pm on Saturday night when one of the new girls came up to the girl I was talking with and said something really exciting in Thai and then bolted back into the dressing room changed and walked out the front door.

Apparently a farang paid the girls bar, and asked her to spend the night and meet him at the side door of the Marriott. Here is what kills me, he gave her 4000 baht up front and promised her another 4000 in the morning if she stayed all night!

I never tell the girls I€™m staying at the Marriott until I negotiate the price€¦ if they know your staying at the Marriott they try to charge you more. This guy must have been a nubee and thinks he€™s getting a great deal being he€™s paying the equivalent of $200us for an all night fuck. In New York try doing that for $200.... maybe a hot looking girl for 1 hour for $200 but thats it.

OK, you got me. How is this going to "kill a good thing?" Do you think that because this has happened once that the new 'going rate' has been somehow re-set? If I go in and fuck Areeya all night for 200 Baht, will this even things up for ya?

When I was waiting tables in Dallas about once a month I would get a really great tip off a satisfied customer. I never expected it to happen and it was a bloody nice surprise when it did happen! When I went to work the next day I didn't expect it to happen again!

I had my favourite customers and my regulars. Some used to over tip me but some were just cool people to wait on and gave me the standard 15%.

Once a month an old bloke came in and always gave $10 to his waiter to fuck off so I could take care of him. I knew exactly how he liked his Irish coffees and no-one else could get it right...

Pre-heat the glass mug, a FULL measure of Baileys and some extra cream on the side - easy if you can be arsed and you don't mind taking an extra couple of minutes to do the job properly even when you are weeded!

I waited on people who left pizza coupons as a tip and really thought they were doing me a favour! (Yes, shit happens even in a decent restaurant!)

Who gives a darn if the girls get a bumper pay day every now and then, Good luck to the lucky girl and good luck to the lucky guy who can afford to chuck his money about like that! I wish I was that rich!

Point is, no-one is going to "kill" anything. The bars are all empty and the rates have been the same for years. Even the swarms of invading Japs haven't managed to change anything in Nana Plaza, so one bloke on his annual leave isn't likely to do much either!

Nothings gonna change, I guarantee it!

Masahiko, I was there Saturday night, but left with soemone (Ann) at around 8 PM and returned again around 10:30 for another round with Aum. I thought I was generous with my 1500 to 2000. That amount seemed very generous to me and I was thanked with many bows...

Also, Riat acted real starnge on Friday & Sat night with me at Cascades, Very hyper, agressive, forcing me to but her a couple of drinks until I told her to get lost. I used to like her, but no more.

as usual I disagree with ol' Stogie here...... I think what Masahiko says is true to some degree, because when the girls get that kind of green from one schmuck they expect it from the rest of us. So when you take them home and only give them 1000 or even 1500 or 2000, they may be thinking "well, this sucks, I got 3000 for short from that clown last night, why should I settle for 1000?". They may take it, but grudgingly, and then be pissed at you.

One guy wanted to join the site for a year recently and wanted to pay cash in BKK, 4000 baht; for this I always send May, but she was busy so I chose another model I had been working with a lot that week [sorry, no names] to go in her place. The guy called her; knew she was cute and said "well, since I am paying you for the site for a year, why don't you hang with me for an hour and we can have fun also?" The girl said OK, but for 3000 more!!! The guy was a little upset with that and told me so in an e-mail, and basically told the girl to fuck-off; I had to send another girl to meet him and they had no sex, just the payment for the site. Bottom line; that girl priced herself right out of his market because some guys were willing to pay her 3000 for short in the past but this guy wasn't.

I think it is true to a certain extent that if some people start paying over the odds then the girls will come to expect it. Many Nana bars have proven this already, especially the Rainbow bar next to Obs. Many Japanese guys in there paying over market rates. I went in there one night and was talking to a girl (unusual cos I was ignored the two previous times in there). She quoted Bt3k short time. She wasnt even that nice. If she was a stunner then maybe. Even on Soi Cowboy 5 mins before closing a girl was quoting Bt3.5k LT to my mate. However I got the impression she did not want to go with him, hence the high price.

However, as Stogie said, this will not happen because one guy paid daft money one time. It will have to happen on a regular basis. The beauty about the LB scene is that it is a bit of a niche market. There are not hordes of customers flocking over without a clue as to prices etc as happens in many GG bars. Most LB fans have done a bit of research first via the internet. Also there is a lot of LBs working, and supply outstrips demand. Look at Cascades in the week. Lots of girls, not too many cutomers. Maybe some superstars will start asking silly prices, but most will happily take the standard market rate.

Yes, the girl that went could have been lying, but I know the girl with me was not as during the original conversation I know enough Thai to understand that see pan and pet pan baht mean 4 and 8 thousand. Plus in all my time I have never seen a girl move that fast.

And Simon your right about the Nana girls as at the same time my co-worker took a real girl from downstairs in one of the go-gos, and she was complaining so much about the 2500 he gave her for all night the next morning.

I have no problem being fair to the girls, and I understand inflation but as the Yen goes up and down against the Baht every month I like to stay within some sort of regular price range.

We all have our own opinion on this and that is why we get to express it here.

Francing, Beam definetly works in Pattay on Soi 6. I don't know if there is one that resembles her in Cascades but if she takes off her shorts I am sure she does not have what Beam does.

These girls are smart. They'd like the big bucks every night, and they'll push for it, but they don't expect it. If they did the rates would have gone up and they haven't.

The reason the girls hang out with the Japs is because they DO pay extra. If they thought you and I were they would show us the same kind of attention.

It's the "5 - 5 - 5" rule with japs. Five inches, 5 seconds and 5 thousand!
