I came in to this forum years ago and it was brilliant to keep up you all, the intelligence for LB's and enjoy the pics posted.
Since it has become 'pay to view' it has died. I have paid ,which I do not regret, from all the great stuff before but now probably access once a fortnight , and I live in Pattaya!
Look at the date on the posts they are months before.
Sorry peeps but what was once a source of reference and enjoyment is now a testimony to most of Pattaya - No Falangs no big fun!

I was in Patpong last night and the sex tourism must be at an all time low , mind you it was Sunday and its usually dead in most bars. Funny enough the nana Japs were out in big numbers , a few guys here thought that they would not be coming at this time, including moi.

I think the whole 'on line' movement has changed.

Pretty much all the other LB forums are almost inactive. The only one that has a lot of visitors is dreadful. A couple of the others have their regulars who write to keep it moving...

We have 250 paying members who join to read, watch videos and post stuff...

I don't think the number will go up or down significantly in the future. Old timers (such as yourself?) get bored and leave and the new guys pick up the slack.

We won't change our format here. I like the 'old boys network' just the way it is.

Yeah, I like this place too. It feels very comfortable.
I find myself on here a couple of times a day, most days.

Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, brother, but you've only just seen the beginning of it... We are now entering the single biggest travel week of the year for Japanese.

I'm sorry, but I find that in poor taste.  But maybe knowing people who just tragically died and others who are in the very real danger of the horrors of radiation has clouded my opinion...

I think the whole point of this forum has been that it never had the mass market approach, but was always a venue for the like minded and increasingly the ladies we love.


I don't think we can lay the blame for any changes at the change to a pay system, I mean £0.61p per week for the forum and two video channels? come on now!!

Rather, the whole social networking phenomenon of which the forum was an early example is diversifying and changing. Even Facebook is losing some ground to Twitter because it suits some people (who I am assured I should not call "Twits") to say all they have to say in 140 odd characters. They also apparently feel the need to "follow" cleaning products and groceries which i admit has me baffled.

Having been away for a while I don't find the forum stale - admittedly there is an absence of nutters threatening the moderators which is no bad thing in my view - but the rest is fine. Yes I agree the modern trip reports are  not like the old Rob 69 offerings but his was a unique view of our world and we will not see his like again. I still enjoy the forum and like Texas Mac hope I never leave - which means at least we all know who the last two in the NFL contest will be again in 2011.
