Singapore in April

How is the LB action in Singapore these days? Is Romeo's still good for a starting point ? Its been a few years since I was in Sing, so could use some guidance to find good LB action.

It was business as usual last year in the few minutes I spent checking!

A shopping mall (Orchard Towers) where the elevators don't work, have two miniscule bars where the lost and hopeful meet more of the same. Some of the regulars you read about on the forum migrate there every now and then. The best get top dollar and the rest don't.

I'd guess from other posts that things haven't really changed since your last visit...

If you like your LBs petite, Romeos is generally better. If you prefer Amazons, try Crazy Horse on the top floor instead. There is a mix of both types in both bars but there seem to be more Amazons in CH.

Romeos is better lit than CH so less chance of buyers remorse when you step out of the bar with your selection!

CH seems to be more laid-back. At one point, when you first entered Romeos you would be surrounded by girls demanding that you choose one to drink with. You could obviously tell them to feck off, but it's rare to be swarmed in CH. Not sure whether the management had a word with the girls but the swarming seems to have stopped, at least as of Oct last year when I last visited.

Conversely, because CH is bigger than Romeos and about as dark as a mama-san's soul, it's generally a bit of a struggle for you to check out all of the talent to make sure you're not missing out on a gem. Romeos is small enough that you can pull up a seat along the wall and check out 90%+ of the talent from your table.

Plenty of posties in both bars so if you are looking for a preop, make sure you ask. I almost always get approached by posties initially, but if you ask politely they'll steer some preops to your table for your consideration.
