The event's organizer, Michelle Manangan, is an immigrant from the Philippines who is also a transgender woman. The pageant's goal is to create awareness and establish a supportive community for transgender Asian women in New York, and to reveal just how profoundly the members of this group are on the margins of society. She said Asians are under-represented in transgender beauty pageants.

"I feel like being a transgender, it's so marginalized as it is in the LGBT community," said Manangan, who organized beauty pageants in San Francisco before moving to New York. "Other than being called €˜Lady boys' and other derogatory comments, we are special, we can come up with this [event]."

Well, it seems that Jake the moderator was egging her along as well. Demonstrates a lot of sympathy and understanding towards a supposedly non p4p lb.

She's a diva no doubt, and having reviewed the comment she was 4th in Miss Tiffany Universe - there is no such award. There's only the winner, 1st & 2nd runners-up, plus other awards, such as Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, Best Costume, Miss Unlimited Sexy Star, etc. I could not recognize her in any of those categories.

Despite that, she is definitely hot and I wish her success as she tries to build her career in the USA.

Tunch aka Champagne is one LB who looks great after her surgery. IMO she scrubs up better today. There are plenty of her pics on the web.

By contrast, here's Mo, a gorgeous little thing back when I first met her. What wasn't apparent were her esteem issues. Though I guess they go hand in glove with being a ladyboy.

First she had a set of bolt-ons added, big & proud, they are a testament to the surgeon's art if you like that sort of thing. I do so no complaints from me.

Then she had her already perfect nose sharpened, truly a crime against nature...

Then she started on the arse injections. And as usual, they don't know when to stop...

Fortunately we can still remember her as she was thanks to photos taken before the madness.
