I was just reading Listers story in another thread.

This dosent happen only in Thailand but every fucking where..

3 years ago a dear and very close friend of mine met what he thought was the sweetest innocent little brown girl from asia here in our home town,,first few months were like living a honeymoon..
Dave & Mia were inseperable for the 1st 3 months ,,Dave had a good job $55k a yr plus,nice home, company car,,then the claws started to dig in,,poor old dave got himself a 2nd mortgage and a nice gold credit card and off overseas they went..
Spent the fucking lot on her and her family while she kept him pretty well drunk most of the time..

Recentley she has managed to skin him of more than $200
000.00,,which most of it has gone on machines,,loss of friends family and now living in a rundown housing commision flat..

One thing I might add though,,this guy was very vulnerable, having just got divorced prior to meeting her and completely done his balls over this evil little fucker...

She has dragged him down to her level now and waiting for another loser to come along while he feeds her poky money while he sits home waiting all hours for her..
She now works out of the Casino fucking and blowing guys for as little as $20 a throw...

Someone once told me that men do stupid things when it comes to women or ladyboys in our case. How many times have you heard these girls talk about how generous "farangs" can be and how they mess it up for the rest of us that just want to keep the prices reasonable without being a cheap charlie.

I know Jon (Jai Dee now) once wrote that 1500 is the max he would ever pay and I have always lived by that guidance.

I have lots of friends in Thailand, both girls and ladyboys but one thing is to have a fuckbuddy, its a whole other thing to support or marry any of them. I have actually seen people pay a girls bar for 2 weeks and wind up marrying her at the end of it. I laugh, but I am happy for the girl as she accomplished her goal.

I know he wrote 1500 one time, a long time ago. Back in the old yellow forum. His guidlines might have changed but I use the 1500 salary cap and it has always worked for me. None the less, if a girl is really good that does not mean there can't be a tip. But I have heard from the girls that there are guys that throw down 3000 plus for a short time or even all night, and that can ruin it for the rest of us.

Now if you want to throw down that much it is up to you, but I choose not to.

I think all the girls are wonderful, but I want to keep things in perspective.

Agreed Mash, I want to keep a lid on expenses too so I pay standard rates which vary a bit from place to place.  If I find a girl I like perhaps I'll give her a bonus or some small gifts.

There is a wide gulf between what a longtime is worth to a girl (who does not have another prospective cusgtomer that night) and what we would pay (if there were no other girls we could shag in the near future).  To us, a simultaneously hot yet loving longtime with a beautiful ladyboy might be worth 6,000 baht.  On the other hand 500 baht might be a significant portion of a girls rent and she'd be better off with 500 than nothing for that night.   We're not going to pay 6000 baht because we know we can get much cheaper.   Someplace near the intersection of supply and demand is the going rate.

I don't throw my baht around but I'm not a cheap charlie either.  I try to be fair and try to treat the girls with kindness and respect.

For every Farang that gets "stung" for thinking with the little head, how many girls get screwed with the "I luv you too mutt" line from the punters. I don't think this ruins it for the rest of us because as PigDogg mentioned it is a case of supply and demand. Also I guess many of think in our local currencies like 2000 bath = $65 AUD or $52 USD etc when the girls really could care less about your exchange rate because they live on baht. Do what you think is fair, if I girl or ladyboy will go with you then as far as I am concerned she is reasonably happy with your offer otherwise she would have said no right?

Also I have been reading for years about the prices and they never seem to go up, a lot of people are quoting the same prices for st as they did 3-4 years ago. Surely the prices should increas with inflation etc?

I agree with both Ozzie and Piggdog, if the girls agree to the price ahead of time then that is what they take home. There are not too many girls I have not tipped. I do not personally set the rates but I am not going to inflate them either. A few of the Nana and KC3 superstars ask for too much but if that is who you want to take home that night it is up to you to pay it. Hence supply and demand.

In all my years of running Patpong, Soi Cowboy, Asoke, Nana, Phuket, and Pattaya I have met very few girls that will not treat you extremely well as long as you are respectful to them. In think the katoeys treat you better than the girls.

In my opinion the most ruthless girls are the college girls. They have guys lined up sending them money. I know of a few "college" girls working in the Morning/Night beer bar on Soi Nana taking in over 100,000 baht a month just in western union or bank transfer payments. This is from guys that will show up for a week every 6 months. And I use the word ruthless loosely as I think almost everyone of those girls should try to get as much as they can before their shelf life expires.

The guys are in love, the girls are getting money. Everyone is happy until she sends you a "canned" email with the other guys name on it by accident.

Sometimes I think I go to thailand too often as I am one of those guys that hear all the stories from the girls about their boyfriends, its like a soap opera. I translate emails for them, write responses, you name it.

But I will be back next week for my 7th time so far in 2005 and I still get excited prior to leaving as there is always new talent. I will say that the talent has never been this good, lately the girls in obsessions and cascades have been the best quality I have ever seen. But now I am just rambling..sorry

Your an animal ......Being respectful is the key in everyday life....Nobody wants to be treated badly...and the girls in LOS want to feel like they are special....they actually crave this kind of treatment....The more respectful you are, the better you will be rewarded....

As far as what the girls are worth, personally I've never been to LOS (going on my first trip next week)....from what I read on these post....and I read alot....it has nothing to do with caps or any other bullshit, it's what you feel is a fair price...yes, there is a going rate for st & lt, but if it means losing the girl you really want to spend time with, then that should be ignored....don't get carried away, but a little extra might get you the time of your life!

Spoke to one member a few times on the phone too....he's been to LOS 14 times...just a wealth of knowledge....I have like 8 or 9 pages of notes already.....just good to have the knowledge even though I probably won't need most of it..
