Any news on the famous Ming?

Anyone seen or heard from Ming in the last 10 days?   I'm a bit reluctant to start this thread, but not sure who to ask.  Had a disturbing chat with Yoyo in soi 4 earlier today.

Usual preamble, but Yoyo then told me that Ming had died. She had a call from Ming's mum last week, apparently it was in an accident. I'm pretty sure it's the well-known Ming (often in Phuket) as she and Yoyo were friends, and did a twosome photoshoot. Clearly Yoyo was upset, so don't think it was some wind-up (I wish it was, and then I could apologise for passing on such info).

It's quite dreadful news if true, but I'm not saying any more until we get some confirmation.   Anyone?

Tragic news if true for sure. One of the all-time big names among ladyboys. Hope it comes up as just a mix up, if not RIP. She will be missed by many.

agreed, always a great personality and was just as nice and friendly when we met at the old Kathoeys 'R' Us back in 2000 as she was in 2008; she never changed despite her ''superstar'' status, which she never even seemed to realize for herself.

A BM on another forum told me he heard about this on Pattaya News One site. However the location, time frame, and being a transexual matches the age certainly doesn't.

Body of Transsexual found in waters close to the Bali Hai Port.

Pattaya, September 19 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Just after 3.30 on Saturday Morning, rescue services were alerted to a transsexual who had apparently jumped off the end of the Bali Hai Pier with the intention of ending his life. Pattaya Sea Rescue Services were called in, and divers began a search of the water. The search continued until the body of Khun Wootishai aged 19 was fished from the water at 7am, approximately 200 meters from the end of the pier. Police Lieutenant Colonel Prichar from Pattaya Police Station was then called into to inspect the body and record the incident which appears to be a suicide after evidence of foul play or third party involvement in the death was not found. Officers went to the victim's room in Central Pattaya and were told by neighbors that the victim had recently broken up with his boyfriend and since that time, he had remained in his room and would only leave to purchase alcohol on a daily basis. Police will wait until the results of a post mortem examination before they confirm the cause of death as a suicide.

Thank you to the BM who last night PM'd me with that same news story.  I was very surprised, because not aware that Ming did Pattaya very much, and certainly the age was wrong.

First pic is off now.  But truth is (for better or worse) .... that is how most of us got to know her.  Only met her a few times, but her attitude was just delightful.  A superstar on ATS etc, but not in person.

Reminds us how many live on the edge. I hope her next life is much happier than her last days in this one.  RIP
